FantasticThe hotel was a couple of minutes away from the bus station. Staff were very helpful. Rooms were spotless. Food was great. We could not fault this hotel in any way!!!

The only bad thing about the hotel was that you'd have to take a metro to anywhere you want to go to or else its at least a 15 minute walk to Placa de Catalunya but it wasn't too bad if you buy the city card. It helped us get use to taking the metro anyway because thats how we got anywhere. We took the taxi home every night from bars and clubs when the metro wasn't running and it was always less than 8 euros (very cheap for taxi rides). The staff was excellent, especially the morning shift. Their internet didn't work for a few days which sucked but otherwise, the room was always spotless. I would stay there again definitely! If you're from America, make sure you check there first for money exchange because you get the best rate there but only when the manager is around. The pool is closed until June unfortunately but when you're in barcelona, thats the last thing you want to do anyway.

This hotel is suitable for those who want a weekend break but don't want to spend a lot, clean and adequate, just a little out of the way from the main throughfare but if you enjoy a 20 minute walk then this hotel will suit you.

The hotel from the Moment we arrived was first class. Very nice lobby and rooms stocked with fruit and water was a nice touch at no extra cost. Also, in the lobby are two computers to use free of charge. The small fitness room is open 24/7 and free water bottles are always available for taking with you.

The Confortel Auditori was just what we needed for our city break in Barcelona, the location was excellent, especially as we had arrived by bus from Girona airport the bus station is a 2 minute walk away. The hotel itself was modern and clean and was a welcome place to return to after long days sightseeing.

I booked this hotel online not knowing much. After coming in late after traveling all day I was welcomed to a clean, contemprary hotel with modern design. I heard english often and the front desk guy was great and knew english very well. Bottled water was supplied in the in-room refrigerator and I was told that Barcelona's tap water wasn't that good. Our room was located at the front of the hotel but the double paned glass door kept out all road noise. The hotel is near walking distance to some nice attractions and also located very close to bus and metro stops. I didn't have the breakfast that was offered but it was busy every morning. My husband used the fitness room; could be better but usable and gets the job done. They also had two computers with online access that was complimentary and that was nice.

Convenient neighborhood with supermarket and restaurants nearby. Fairly easy walk to Plaza Catalyuna and La Rambla. Walk to Metro about 10 minutes. Immaculate hotel with comfortable beds but lighting inadequate. They sent someone up to improve the lighting but still too dark. Breakfast buffet fair.

Amazing hotel for the money, virtually next door to barcelona main bus station. Rooms are well specified, modern and with a free minibar. Area was pretty quiet and only a short walk to all the sights-beach about 15 min walk, metro a couple of minutes away. Will definatedly stay here again if i return to the city.

This was a very nice hotel but too far from most tourist areas. It was necessary to walk 15-20 mins then get a metro each time we wished to visit anywhere. there are limited places in the immediate vacinity to eat/drink although there are some locals bars, and we got lost the first night as it is predominately a residential area. The free mini bar is a bit misleading as consists of water/pop only but was handy to have. There is free internet in reception which was useful. If you don't mind a bit of travelling, this place is fine.

Good central location, nice contemporary design, free mini bar! reasonably priced car parking underground.

The hotel is modern and the rooms also. In that sense almost minimalist; small but comfortable. The only complaint we could have made, but didn't, was that the room was quiet and consequently the air-conditioning system seemed noisy at night. We were impressed by the daily renewal of soft drinks in the fridge for which there was no charge, by the gym and the small swimming pool. We were disappointed that there was a 16 euro charge per night for the use of the hotel underground carpark. The Metro (and a national bus station) is closeby (5 mins walk ) and so we didn't use the car after we arrived. Would definitely stay again although it's about a half hours walk from the city centre.

An excellent modern hotel that was clean and fresh and included the essentials, cleanliness, A/C and an excellent shower. A minimial walk to the centre. Being a frequent traveller I would recommend it 100%

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights in June 2007. We found the hotel to be very modern and clean throughout, and the room was ideal; nice comfortable beds, plenty of space and an immaculate bathroom! The complimentary soft drinks mini bar was an extra bonus, replenished daily with water, coke, juice and lo-alcohol lager. The only downsides were that there was no drawer space (although the wardrobe was large enough and had shelves for smaller items) and the lighting wasn't brilliant. We were never up early enough to try the breakfast, but that didn't matter as there are plenty of cafes nearby for coffee, toasted sandwiches, churros (yummy!). The hotel location was an ideal base for exploring Barcelona, being just a short walk from the Sagrada Familia and within a 5 Euro taxi ride to the city centre (La Catedral, la Rambla etc...). Not only that but, as two woman, we felt very safe walking around the area at night. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona and I would certainly come back again.

the hotel itself was lovely. sleek, tastefull design and an overall contemporary feel to the place. Staff were very polite and helpfull and the roof terrace and dip pool were an added bonus. We had 2 things that didnt tick our boxes:1) Not enough natural daylight in room - ie. had to have lights on all day and they werent very bright at that.2) not very convieniantly located as was stated. The beach was a good 25min. walk and the placa de cataluynia was a 20min walk and the ramblas and gothic quarter a bit further still. This however, did not mar our stay as we are both quite active people and reasoned that the more we walked the more we ate and drunk!!!!!!!!!!!!!A lower key stay than my previous stay on the Ramblas- Ideal for people who like to sleep at night without the buzz of the ramblas (which is very noisey from dusk till dawn).

Perfect location for walking to the Gothic area/La Ramblas. The hotel was very clean, had friendly staff and even had a free minibar in the room! There is also a small pool on the roof of the hotel, and parking available in the basement which cost around 16euros. It is rated as a 3 star though would say that it was the top end of the rating. Would definitely return there or recommend to others. We did not eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food.

Greeted by very friendly, helpful staff. Our room was modern & spotless. Unusually for hotels the bed was very comfortable & firm. Can't comment on the food as there was so many places nearby that we ate out. Easy walking distance of Sagrada Familia where nearby we caught the tour buses, excellent for getting your bearings. We will definitely use this hotel again & recommend it to anybody visiting Barcelona.

Fairly good location - in-between the old town and Sagrada Familia - you can walk to both in 15 minutes. Good Metro connection. Fairly quiet area. Hotel very clean, staff very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location, at most 10 minutes walk from the centre and close to Monument tube station. Nice rooms, free mini bar [ but don't get too excited!!], very friendly staff, just avoid the take away pizza option -our experience wasn't good. Would recommend to anyone.
