If you're going to Cairo to stay in the hotel and relax, then it is definitely not a good idea to stay in this hotel! On the other hand, if you're visiting Cairo to look around and visit, then this hotel is just perfect. The price is just very interesting and the hotel rooms have what is actually needed to stay for the nights. As a consequence, I would definitely recommend this hotel for business or tourism.

The hotel was close to the metro to access Coptic Cairo. Within walking distance of the Egyptian Museum, and a short cab ride to the market and Islamic Cairo. The breakfast was sufficient and convenient. This is not a 4 or 5 star so don't expect that. This is for buget travellers who prefer to spend the money they save on the hotel on everything else there is to experience in Cairo and Giza or perhaps Luxor.

I'd have to say for what its worth you really do get a pretty solid 3 star hotel. I spent 3 weeks in Egypt and used this hotel as my main base, while i went around the different areas. I had no problem with Safety no one came into my room unannounced, or knocking. Safety being my biggest fear i didn't have my room cleaned by just leaving the Do Not disturb sign on the door and after the second week they called to ask me if everything was ok and if i needed anything from the cleaning people. I found the hotel staff to be friendly and helpful and noticed that the prices of tours through this hotel seemed to be a lot cheaper than what you would find from the neighboring bazaars close by which for me showed a great deal of respect on their part. Being my 1st time Egypt from talking to the guys at the front desk i noticed them to be very helpful in giving me advice on how much things should really cost and that never pay more than a certain amount for things. The Room be it small was still very clean. My visits through out Egypt took me to a few "3 star" hotels and they were not near anything like this and they felt like 0 star in comparison as the bathrooms seemed to of never been cleaned the beds had food crumbs on it. Yeah the Concorde felt paradise compared. The Restaurant was a little high priced for my taste as you can make a 2minute walk up the street and get some pretty good Egyptian food for a quarter of the price, which i ended up doing on several instances. In Short i would highly recommend this hotel, it may not be a Hilton but for the price and the service i don't think it can be beat.

The rooms are quite small. Bathrooms were decent. the water pressure was not great but usable. The hot water was not the hottest, on the other hand, it was Augtust so we really didnt care. AC was fine. Breakfast was fine for the price. Definitley edible. Beds are hard, like many Egyptina hotels. 5 minute wlak from Dokki Metro. 2 mintue walk to the Nile. Room face the side top floor so we even had some view of Dokki area and it was not noisy. We had the cheapest rooms.

It was amazing. They hooked us up with tours to the major sites in CAIRO. The hotel staff was amazing and the tour guide as well as the driver were amazing. If you travel to Cairo by yourself have them hook up a tour guide. Very affordable. They let me used the internet because I had my computer so WIFI for free. Amazing.
