Very nice. Clean, neat and attractive. Right in downtown area, but a block off the high traffic area so is quiet. Better than expected breakfast and the bed was very comfortable. We will return.

After reading the horror stories in previous posts, I was very apprehensive. However, the front lobby area was very nice. The rooms were not spectacular but well-kept. We stayed in a decent size bedroom with two queen beds and a couch, which was good for a family on vacation on a budget. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very nice. The indoor pool was a positive thing for the kids, being still somewhat cool in April. However, if you are planning on using the hotel's free wireless high-speed internet, you will almost certainly be disappointed. The prior reviews were correct, it would vary between slow and non-existent, and there is no one there capable of solving the problem. I was there on a family vacation and did not have demanding internet needs so I was able to muddle through and get a few things done online. It wasn't the cheapest place to stay, but overall the stay was pleasant.

Wireless internet is poor. This is overall a good hotel. Clean quiet and easy-found. However, the wireless signal is so poor that I couldn't get any connection.

I have never stayed in a place so badly in need of a cleaning. The only good thing about our room was the bed, which was very comfortable. The bathroom had textured wallpaper which must be hard to clean, but they weren't trying very hard. There was "stuff" splattered all over it and on the back of the door. I cleaned the sink and shower myself before we used it. The lobby, breakfast area and laundry area were all in the same shape. Very disappointing.

Hotel clerks and maids we're very helpful with local town info. Pool area is in need of an up-date. We checked into the hotel late and the counter clerk was very helpful with local directions to stores that we're open late. She also gave us the phone number to the pizza place that wasn't in the book yet. Very helpful!

the hotel is currently being remodeled but was not an issue during my trip. The evening desk staff (6-11 shift) was not very helpful and should be fired or better trained to work with clients. The room was relatively clean with some lights not working and electric outets loose/hazardous. The carpet was filthy. My biggest complaint about this hotel was the internet - there was wireless access but the systems was disfunctional - even going to the lobby for wired connection was no improvement. As I did some troubleshooting - it seemed apparent there was a router or DNS issue that needed attention. I called "XXX" on there "801" service line (MDE Tech.) and got what seemed an extremely dull individual - as if he knew nothing about the internet. I offered to work with him interactively to resolve the issue - but was blown off as - he'll take care of it. the problem was NEVCER resolved. I even left a message with the fornt desk 4 times about the issue and asked that the hotel manager contact me. That never happened. I also called Choice Hotels to complain - and was told this was a privately owned hotel and they could do nothing about the internet issues. So much for franchise chain hotels :-( This is a great way to push off responsibility. This is probably owned by an absentee landlord with his family helping him run operations. That leads to no one accountable for any problems because the family can do no wrong. This hotel's internet service sucks and therefore I will NEVER use this hotel again. You would think the manager would at least have the decency to contact me.

Rooms were dirty. Bathrooms were terrible. Missing smoke detector, but cords were hanging from the ceiling. 1/2 cup of coffee was left in the window sill from previous guests. Smelled of dog, and bed posts were chewed up. The breakfast area was dirty and poorly stocked. The staff was terrible. NEVER answered phone calls. Go ahead and attempt! Poor housekeeping. The pool area was dingy and water was WAY over clorinated. The only positive was its location to Moab Brewery and room size. Way over priced, even for Moab.

We have stayed at this hotel 2 times. On this second (and last) visit, things had deteriorated. The staff seemed very disinterested when we reported the dirty pool. Nothing was done about that. The exercise room is full of equipment that is totally broken, or rusted, or barely moving and seriously unsafe. The back security door did not lock; you could get in without even using your card key. The carpet in the halls was very dirty. Only minimal cleaning of our room was done. The hotel is in a great location; too bad that is the only thing to recommend it, especially for the cost during an "event".

We have stayed at this hotel several times. Each time has been worse. The carpet was dirty when we arrived. The pillows on the bed were small and flat. The toilet leaked around the base. The towels were ratty. The pool area was dirty. We will not be back.

"My first impression was that this place was dirty. When the close-captioning on the TV didn't work, my wife and I wound up checking out within the first hour of arrival. Complained to management and got a letter back blaming the hotel clerk but offerring no other inducement to come back. I won't. The only good thing about our visit was the hotel clerk recommending that we stay at the Moab Valley Inn right across the street. That place was fantastic, a better price, and better amenties. Go there instead!"

The room was dirty and the plumbing leaked and did not work properly. We would not stay here again.

this is a great place for you and your dog. a little pricey but overall experience was very good. free continental breakfast was the best I've come across.

This is a great hotel- the lobby is so cool and the rooms are great especially for families. We have 3 kids and there was plenty of room. The breakfast is good and you close to everything. For the price you cannot go wrong here. There is an indoor pool and spa as well as an exercise room. fabulous place.

"The room was very spacious and the bed was most comfortable. We very seldom find comfortable beds, but this place has them. Breakfast was nice. "

"This was the absolutely most disgusting hotel we've ever seen! Screens were ripped, blood on sheets, it was sooooo nasty! We would've left except there was an event going on which had all hotel rooms booked up."
