It had a nice sitting area with view of lake. Noisy and public not just guests allowed to use waterpark, a little crowded. Overall was nice, but public not just hotel guests were everywhere, using common areas, dining area and waterpark, one of the noisiest stays I've had, plus heard lobby phone and our phone didn't work in room, short staffed at front desk. Had very good breakfast.

My wife and I stayed here for five nights over the recent July 4th weekend to visit family who were vacationing at the lake. The Guest Guide stated there was an ice machine on the 2nd floor. There was none and an employee told me there used to be one but it was removed. The Guest Guide also stated a USA Today would be provided in the lobby M-F. There was no newspaper and the desk attendant looked at me like I was crazy when I asked - hey, it's in the book! The worst thing about our stay was the daily breakfast buffet. The first day, one woman was tasked with covering the front desk and the buffet at the same time. Obviously, that didn't work. When we arrived there were no bowls, utensils, napkins, etc, etc. The other days the buffet offerings were spotty at best. Several days, the hot tray was empty when we arrived, never to be refilled. Another day, the eggs and ham were completely cold - this at 6:30 AM. Some days there was yogurt, some days not. Some days there were pastries, some days not. There was a breakfast attendant the middle three days of our stay and she told me, "The menu varies by day." Apparently a varied menu just means that some days they don't have things - there were never any substitutes. For all of this we paid per night (tax included) for three nights and for the two weekend nights. We have had better hotel experiences for half that amount in any number of locales across the country. This place strikes me as hotel that is struggling and is trying to cut every corner possible rather than trying to be successful by providing a quality customer esperience.

Room was nice and clean. Free breakfast and coffee was gone by 8:00 am. No one ever checked or replenished. Hotel was just OK. By 8:00 am ran out of coffee, waffle batter and main course during breakfast no one ever checked or replenished buffet. Pool had no towels both days we tried to use it. Strong smell of mildew and/mold in pool area.

Stay here every year. Much improved with new management. Staff very friendly and eager to please. Very good food and clean room. Great water view.

The hotel water park, while nice, has hidden dangers. Not quite sure what was in the water but 3 of 6 kids with us ended up with rashes and burns from the water. The 3rd floor rooms are directly under their 4th floor halls. So plan on listening to the reception music and feeling the ceiling and walls shake as the dancing and evening progresses. You won't be able to settle in till after midnight so bring a good book. And if you like coffee, plan on getting it elsewhere, their black water is definitly something other than coffee.

Very fun for adults and kids! The adult hot tub had a bad odor. We had a wonderful time. The kids were happy and when they are happy I am happy! The water slide was great! The Tiki Bar was pretty cool also!

We really were looking for a good pool for the kids, and a clean hotel. In that regard, it was a success, and we would stay there again. On the other hand, there were small annoying issues that I would like to see improved. We had no remote in the room, and they weren't able to supply one. There was no lamp anywhere near the beds. After I requested one, they provided one with no shade. The food at the restaurant was just Ok, and they don't have a liquor license. But these are small issues. The management is new, and hopefully they will improve.

The room location to the lake, pool, and fitness. Were exc. Didn't have a hot tub in our suite. Wasn't available? Will be back, for sure. It was a great addition to our vacation plans. May even request the exact same room? Or at least one very close to this one?

Lake side rooms & pool & bar area near pool. It was a very pleasant stay with accommodations for children, staff was pleasant, and all our needs were met very well.

Me, my husband and 2 kids were enjoying the pool when we noticed poop at the top of the waterslide. We brought it to the employee at the pools attention and she informed us that the pool would need to be shut down. We thought "well absolutley". A couple minutes after we left my brother in law noticed that the pool was still open, when he asked the employee why the pool wasn't closed she informed him that the manager said not to. In fact they continued to allow people from outside the hotel to purchase pool passes for the day. When he questioned the manager about it he was quite rude!!! Needless to say he insisted that the pool be closed for cleaning and it then was. After this instance, I felt I couldn't trust the cleanliness of this hotel. This hotel apparently has a manager that obviously has no respect for the people staying there and just a concern for making a buck. There is a lot of fun and clean hotels out there, why risk staying here!!

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel on 2 different occasions; once by ourselves and once with our two small children. The water park was perfect for young children and the service in the restaurant was wonderful! We will be back again for Valentines Day!!!
