The Comfort Suites Gwinnett Place definitely could have better upkeeping and maintenance. Hallways and the actual room itself, had an unpleasant stinch, which made it hard to feel comfortable away from home. However, I was impressed with the Front Desk Staff and the location.

The whole floor smelled and our room was even worse. We asked for a new one on the first floor and we were shifted to the last room across from the ice machine even though there were many empty rooms on the floor. We will not stay there again.

This hotel is a nice place to stay for overnight but not for an extended stay. There are better hotels in the area for a lot more money but worth it. The breakfast was good but not a big selection. Overall the staff was very professional and courteous.

The hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating. They gave me another room when I was not satisfied with the first room I was given without charge. The fitness center was not really a fitness center when it lacked the very basic piece of exercise equipment - a treadmill. The breakfast was good every morning with hot waffles but no meat or eggs or hot cereal. The room overall a good value for the money that was spent. The rooms should be brighter with a more contemporary decor.

Location. The hotel was in the middle of an extensive renovation. I would not have stayed at this hotel if I had known that it was in the middle of an extensive renovation. The carpet was even torn out of the halls. You had to walk thru a work area to gain entrance to the lobby (exterior painting). There should have been a discount on their rates for all this inconvenience.

Not a bad hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms were not bad except for the desk chairs and carpet needed to be cleaned. The rest of the hotel room was very clean and they had very nice towels!!! The beds were comfy. The lobby was very well kept up.

The room was ok but I have stayed at better hotels and felt mor comfortable. I thought the bathtub could have been cleaner it was a little dirty on the walls of the shower. I was missing a lightbulb in one of the lights in the room. Also my room was all the way at the end of the the looby right next to the ice machine which kept me up everytime someone would get ice. I am light sleeper so that was not fun!

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. My 3 yr old daughter and I also enjoyed the pool (very much), the breakfast and the comfortness of the room. I would definitely stay there again when I go back to GA.
