The beds were very comfortable. We could hear the bar noise in our room. The staff was very attentive and nice, the room was very comfortable and the beds were great. My only complaint was that it was difficult to regulate the fan blower and it kept kicking on and off and it would wake me up until I got used to it.

If you do not require pampering and 5 star service this may work for you. Though not directly on the beach, it is a quick walk down a path to the beach. The rooms are spacious, well soundproofed and include a small kitchenette area. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate. Housekeeping was very prompt and efficient. There is an outdoor bar/restaurant by the pool that serves excellent lunch and dinner. The only thing that may be annoying to some people is the construction that is going on directly behind the hotel. If you plan to sit by the pool and read all day this may not be a good choice for you. The activity can be quite loud and is not scheduled to be completed until June. All things considered I was quite pleased with this hotel. 2/27/09 - 3/7/09

I came down for business trip and found the hotel to be well worth the money as compared to other hotels down here. The room is large and has a good area to do work and yet relax. The bar and restraunt to the rear of the building by the pool was great. The beach is just down a short walkway (40 yards) but as someone previously mentioned, there is a major construction project going on overhead at the beach site. Not too noisy but it limits the beach space somewhat. The beach has white sugar sand and clean. Overall, the rooms are clean and comfortable and its in a good location.

Free breakfast, bar and pool convenient and good food. Would like some lounge chairs down by beach. Good quality about the best value on Grand Cayman as they provide breakfast which saves at least $20 a couple. Within walking distance of several restaurants. Food at bar is very good for lunches or dinner Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

This was our first trip to Cayman. It was great. Comfort Suites is nice but not a lot to offer. They don't provide chairs on the beach exclusively for their guests so it is hard to get one. There is loud construction going on between the hotel and beach. The hotel itself is fine, it is clean. The pool is nice but small. Stingers pool bar at Comfort Suites is fun. We visited in January and it was not crowded at all. As for food, Coconut Joes across the street is good and reasonably priced. For upscale dining, the Wharf is great and not too far away. Also, Fisherman's Reef is absolutely excellent but requires a taxi or a rental car. For activites, scuba is awesome. Ambassador divers, the dive shop right at Comfort Suites, is great. Ask for X -- she's a great instructor. Captain X does the best Sting Ray City tour, it is a whole day of fun! For afterhours, try the Palms beach bar. It is just a short walk down the beach from Comfort. They have good music, live and DJs, and GREAT margaritas!! The currency exchange is hard to adjust to if you pay in US because you get CI change back. The front desk can exchange your US $ for Cayman $. That makes it easier. Also, if you go to Georgetown, take the bus. It is only $2 each way, per person. It is cheaper that a taxi. Overall our trip was great. Cayman residents and visitors are very chill. Cayman is a great place to relax and have fun. We will definitely go back!

Comfort Suites is a great deal for the money. We had a nice room overlooking the parking lot and outdoor dining area. The kitchenette area in the room was important to us as we could walk to the nearby grocery store and get lunch and snack foods. The hotel staff was friendly and responsive to our needs. The complimentary breakfast was a huge hit! The hotel is in walking distance to a nice variety of restaurants (mostly family-friendly ones with reasonable prices), the terrific public beach area, grocery store, cinema, car rental locations, etc. The beach frontage for the hotel is not great - a major construction project in underway between the hotel and the beach so the beach walkway takes you by a fenced-off construction site and huge crane (which was decorated for the holidays in lights - nice touch!). The public beach is within five minutes and a great location to hang out all day. The hotel provides free beach towels (a great service!) and the adjacent Stingers bar and restaurant is a convenient location to grab a drink or a simple meal. George Town is a 30-minute walk from the hotel. The Cayman roadways aren't very pedestrian friendly. We made the trip on foot and were glad we did but I wouldn't recommend it for families with small children. The hotel staff will call taxis for you and the cars arrive quickly and the taxi drivers are very friendly but expensive (31 US for a family of five to travel a few miles). Overall, we had a great time and will definitely return to Cayman for future family vacations.

Location; amenities (small kitchen) and continental breakfast. Room had peculiar oder - not entirely offensive, but not really nice either; Musty/moldy/wet carpet type of odor. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean; furnishings are a bit worn, but overall it's a good place to stay in a perfect location for business travelling (which is what I do) and working in George Town.

Was there between Christmas 2008 and New Year with family - two teenage girls. The service was excellent and we found the room comfortable. You are not on the beach, but a 60 second walk away. Breakfast was ok as food on the island is expensive. The beach was great and the snorkeling fantastic. Went very far off the beach and saw turtles and barracudas. I also recommend Cemetary Beach for snorkeling.

The holtel was located in a great place, just a short walk to 7 mile beach. It is on the end of 7 mile beach but offers a great beach location. The hotel was clean, secure and quite. Did not use the pool but did use the pool area, loved the hammock near the pool. The hotel has breakfast with coffee, tea, juices, fruit, bagels, toast, cereal, milk, waffles and for a 2.00 charge eggs with bacon or sausage. I am almost sorry we had a condo booked because this would have been a great place to have stayed the week

Best location on 7 mile. There is some construction between the hotel and the beach. Suite was roomy and comfortable, breakfast was included and offered variety. Stay here and save your money to eat out at neighboring restaurants (ex. Marriott is right next door) easy walking distance to everything else. Only downside is some construction going on between the hotel and the beach (same lot of land though) however, we just wandered down the beach a bit to find a spot to lay in the sun away from the noise.

This was our 6th visit to the Cayman's in the last 4 years, the 1st time that we stayed at the Comfort Suites, and it will not be our last. We chose the Comfort Suites this time, because where we had previously stayed was closed due to a recent hurricane and they closed to update to a 5 star resort earlier than scheduled. Our room was spacious, clean, the continental breakfast was fulfilling and plentiful, and the entire staff was friendly and extremely helpful in every aspect. We were in town in November 2008 to help with the 2008 Turtle Triathlon and the staff and everyone here helped make this event a tremendous event.

Free internet (1 computer) in the lobby for guests, a welcome amenity! Good value. Not on the beach and there's noise from construction on adjoining lot, but beach is a very short walk. Just wish there were beach umbrellas. Don't know that I'd do a whole week there (although the suites have microwaves and refrigerators), but for a night or two, it's great. We used it to take advantage of mid-week air travel fares and checked into our timeshare on Friday.

Wonderful service and great location. 25 minute walk to Georgetown. This is a great hotel with wonderful staff, clean, well-maintained facilities and a great pool bar. This is the second time I've stayed and will certainly go back.

I had several problems with my stay. First, The room I stayed in smelled like urine. I could smell it in the hallway. I complained to staff and the said that I could change rooms at * per night. I stayed four nights and could hardly stand it. Second, the manager accused me of tring to profit from their 100% satisfaction guarentee. All I wanted was to be moved to a clean room that had no offensive odors. I will never stay here again.

The best thing about this hotel is that it had a coral reef just 20 feet off the hotel beach that you could see 20 varities of tropical fish. The bar was ok,but I been to better hotel bars. The hotel it self was fine. The cleaning service was very thorough and descrete. The complientary breakfast was unexpected and welcomed. What really made our stay was the coral reef 20 feet from the hotel beach. My husband is a poor swimer, but was able to snorkel and see a variety of tropical fish. If you are trying to attract bussiness to this hotel, you would be wise to reall emphasize this feature to prospective visitors. We are seriously thinking of re-visiting Grand Cayman next year.

"This was a great trip, the suites were clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was included and that helped as food is expensive on Cayman. The pool bar was also good fun they had a lau, we could walk to the beach only 150 yards . great location close to all restaurants, the gelatto shop in the small mall is terrific. Price was also ver reasonable for Cayman with this location. Our family will be back. This is best deal on 7mile some hotels are very far up the beach with nothing around them, and have to cross busy road to beach, Comfort Suites is beach side of the road which is good."

"We really enjoyed our stay here, my husband and I took a getaway and it was the best. Hotel was clean, suites good, staff friendly for our anniversary they bought us rum punch at the lau by the pool. The hotel is located right in the heart of 7 mile beach. We went to Lobster pot for dinner which was also nice. Everything is close by and the beach is just out the back of the hotel no roads to cross. Shopping in Georgetown was also fun but not cheap! We will come back, relaxing and fun and the front desk and manager made us feel very welcome!"

"This was our first time to Cayman, very clean and good value. Not a five star hotel, but for the price its very good, breakfast was also included as well as the high speed internet which let us keep in touch with our kids. Enjoyed Chimbocco reaturant and the gelatto shop, both just a short walk from the hotel, your close to everything here and only about 200 yards from the beach. We will return, if your looking for clean, good location and good price this is your best bet on Cayman which can be pricey."
