The Comfort Suites Deerfield Beach was great as far as the location and the ease of check-in, but very disappointing as far as the cleanliness of the room. The building exterior also needed some sprucing up (patching and painting, mostly). When we checked in, we put our belongings in the room, and went out to visit family that evening. Upon returning at around 11pm, we noticed that the deadbolt on the door did not lock. We also turned on the air conditioning to get some air circulating in the stale room, only to find that it didn't work either. So, we decided to go down to the front desk, and ask if we could switch rooms. They promptly assigned us another room (2 doors down), and we moved our bags into that room. The air conditioner and deadbolt worked, but the cleanliness left much to be desired. The shower looked as if it had not been cleaned in a long time, because there was mildew on the showerhead, on the shower curtain, and all over the inside of the tub. The walls of the tub were covered with dirty, nasty soap scum and were just disgusting. We did not bother to complain about it, because we were tired and weren't going to be staying very long (2 nights).

I used their iron and it was defective and missing a part. The iron was hotter than I thought it was and burnt my shirt. I told the front desk clerk about my problem and he notified the manager, about it. They compensated me for the loss of the shirt and the fact that I had to run out late to the store to buy another one. They handled this situation perfectly. The drainage system around the hallways that face outside were prone to flooding and creating pools of water. This would be the only improvement that I would mark for the management.

This hotel was perfect for a fun filled weekend. It had a great location...right off the highway and just a few minutes from the beach. Being near the highway, it provided access to numerous activities in the pompano/ft lauderdale area. We would definitely come again.

The Comfort Suites at Deerfield Beach is perfect for business travelers and families alike. The location is very convenient to both Boca Raton to visit the university, and a short drive south to Fort Lauderdale, The Venice of the south. I loved how it was removed from the tourist congestion, but right off the highway for conveniently hopping up and down I-95. The staff was very friendly and great at giving directions and helpful for information about the area. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Not a single complaint, except that it might have been convenient to have a dining option closer.

It was a bad experience. I had stayed at this hotel once before, unaware when I booked it online. Once I got there I was treated well at the desk by the attendant that checked me in. When I got to my room it smelled badly. After going for takeout I came back to find out the only drink machine in the building was broken. The movie options were unavailable on my TV so when I went to look at the pay-per-view movies it just said accessing. The next morning I was awoken at 8 am to the fire alarm going off. I jumped up and ran outside, nothing happened. So I went back in, laid down and it began ringing again. After doing this until about 9 am, I decided or the fire alarm decided I was done sleeping. Rather the alarm decided for me. I didn't have much of a restful sleep that night either. Please forward this to Comfort Suites, as I have taken the time to give you this feedback.

Great hotel, excellent breakfast (including eggs, bacon, waffles, etc), real heated pool, clean hotel and room, ultra-extra comfortable bed. I really recommend this hotel, and oficially I will come back. :)

Although the hotel claimed to being newly renovated, I have no idea where that happened. The furniture needs to be replaced and the entire place needs to be cleaned and exterminated. Getting towels was an experience in itself. The staff was inexperienced and indifferent. Only the breakfast in the morning was a high point,although longer hours would have been nice.

The Comfort Inn was very nice. The room was large and very comfortable. Great deal for the money. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Very pleasant setting, nice location to where I needed to be. Attention to details were lacking, there was a used shampoo bottle in the shower. I read the reviews about this hotel prior to committing my reservation. I was a little apprehensive with the ratings, reviews etc. But I was traveling on business, just needed a good nights rest. I was overwhelmed with the rooms comfort, there was coffee, refrigerator, and internet. I was not expecting such a nice place.

We've stayed there twice in the last month. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The internet service was fast and the breakfast was good. We'll gladly stay there again.

For the amount of money we paid, this hotel is not worth your time. Other than the free breakfast which was very good, I don't have much to say that is positive. The bedspread had stains on it, the bathroom door (sliding) would never shut, and the carpet was extremely filthy. I walked in socks and the bottoms were black within an hour. Horrible. To make matters worse, I left behind a diamond necklace, which no one could find for me....even though I know where it was left....not very comforting to know that the hotel staff will take your belongings without a second thought. And when we called about it, Housekeeping really couldn't have cared less. I was heartbroken and will never, never, ever stay at this hotel again!

The room was very large and clean. The breakfast in the morning was very good. It was way more than I had expected. The employees were very sincere and helpful. The guy that helped at the breakfast was very pleasant.

The location is all I can say about this hotel really. Just a short walk to the beach. There was so many bad experiences in just one night I'm glad it was just a short stop over!! First the walls are paper thin. Heard everything next door, AND across the hallway. teenagers and kids so we were up half the night. Then when you went to use the pool they had RENTED it out to a scuba club who proceeded to use it all day long!! Gear everywhere! they took up half the pool. My kids were basically toppling over one another coming off the slide! Oh and the slide is crazy. Nothing safe about it. The continental breakfast was good so I can't complain about that it was free. Two stars is all I would give it because the location was good, but I will never stay in a Comfort Inn again. Try the Hampton chain they are excellent!

Only the location. Elevator smells, found broken glass from a car that was broken into. Not good. The hotel was right off I95 and centralized. Security is a big issue here. Not really safe for your car or rental. Cars are broken into very often. The elevator smells bad! The room smelled funny too.

When booking a few weeks ago, the hotel mentioned it was under renovation that ended in July 2007. I just wish I knew where all the renovations took place, as it couldn't have been in any of the rooms.Old broken furniture,stained and dirty carpet,bathroom fixtures from the 70;s and an ant problem.The lobby and breakfast area was nice, but I wasn't sleeping there and wish more of their renovation dollars were spent on the rooms.The staff was so so. Very inexperienced and indifferent. Don't even ask if there is someone to help with your bags,they just point to a cart.The breakfast in the morning was the high point with a host that was professional and pleasant,but I wish they stayed open a little longer. Only until 9:30 am is a little early to try to get there. I'm on vacation and don't want to have to get up early just to eat a light breakfast. Most days we skipped it.The maid service left something to be desired as well. Only 3 bath towels for 2 adults. Even after asking for another,we always got just the 3.I did make coffee in the coffee maker one morning,but the grounds stayed in the basket until check out day (5 days later). Also, the coffeemaker was in the bathroom. I found that strange.For the price it's an ok place, but next time I'll spend more someplace else. Like I said, I only wish it resembled the commercials on tv.
