I stayed 2 days and found hair on either the new pillows, sheets, or towels each day, and the shower head had mildew on it. For the price I paid, I would have thought I wouldn't have to find items like these! Also, their "free high speed internet" by wifi is apparently only in the lobby area, not in the rooms. Lastly, the shower's water pressure leaves something to be desired...

It was within walking distance to Columbus Crew Stadium. In an industrial type area, not many restaurants nearby. For my purpose, it was perfect. I was attending the Rock on the Range music festival at Columbus Crew Stadium and the Comfort Suites was within walking distance and very reasonably priced. Nothing fancy about this hotel, but it served its purpose well.

I was in town for a concert, and stayed at this hotel. It was horrible. First, check in is at 3 pm, and my room wasn't ready until 3:35 pm, even though the reservation was made well in advance. Second, the headboard fell off my bed that night and hit me. I just had surgery on my head too, so I definteily didn't need that to happen! Why didn't houskeeping report it when they were taking their sweet time cleaning the room? I tried to calling the front desk to report it, but there was no answer although the phone rang 15 times! Also, the breakfast area was filthy. There was an excessive amount of dust and dirt all over the place. Absolutely disgusting! Also, my room was supposed to be handicapped accessible, yet, instead of a shower stall, which would have made sense, there was a bathtub that was really deep, that most, if not all wheelchair users such as myself could not use. So, I couldn't even take a shower before or after the concert. Therefore, if you need a handicapped accessible room, I'd look elsewhere. I complained to hotel staff about these problems, and they would not honor thier policy of 100% satisfaction or the stay was free. I'm absolutely disgusted with this hotel, and will never stay at this hotel if I should return to Columbus. Avoid this place like the plague! It's not worth * bucks per night plus tax, oh, nad the hidden fee for having a safe in your room even though you may not have wanted it. Very disappointed.

We arrived at 3:00. Check-in was scheduled for 3:00. We were told our room was not yet ready, but would be ready in 10-15 minutes. We waited patiently in the lobby. Our room was not ready until after 5:00. Would not recommend checking in before 5:00.

Size of room and comfort of bed. Beggars outside the lobby asking me for cash for a cab and it was scary with me being the only female with young female teens.

This motel was the worst I have ever stayed in. I had to go to the Ohio State Patrol Academy for one week. I did not want to stay in the dorms so I got a motel room. Big mistake. The rooms were very dirty and smelled. I tried to tak a dip in the pool, until a large clump of hair went floating by. There are no machines to get a snack and the desk wont sell any snacks after 2300. Would not recommend to anyone. Would have changed motels but a snow storm kept me from attempting to get a room farther away from the academy.

The hotel was very clean; staff were very friendly. Free continental breakfast had many choices: cereal, muffins, danish, waffles you could make yourself, with coffee, hot water/tea, juice, milk, yogurt and fruit. The hotel is also very conveniently located off I-71, across the street from the Ohio State Fairgrounds and only 1-2 miles from downtown. Parking was free and ample. My only complaint was that pool was closed for refilling during the one night I was free!

I liked that the hotel staff was friendly and very attentive to my needs. I could smell the cigarette smoke from the adjoining room in my bathroom. It was a very nice place to stay.

I'm sad to say that the lobby was dingy,on our arrival the elevator was filthy only to be topped by vomit on the floor of the elevator when we used it in the morning.The room was a litle dirty & the mattress needed to be replaced.My daughter goes to school in Columbus & I assure you that I won't be staying in this hotel.

Satisfactory amount of space in room. Elevator broken, staff-not that helpful. The room was great; except it was on the 3rd floor of a hotel with no working elevators. My travel partner lost her keys and contacted the hotel staff after we left about if they had found them where she thought they were left, they said they would call back after speaking with housekeeping. When she called back 15 minutes later with another idea of where they were left, another staff member had told her the 1st staff member was gone for the next hour and would call her back. He never did. Luckily we weren't traveling far, but if I had to wait around for a call back that never came before I could leave for my destination I would have been outraged.

Nice enough place but in a bad neighborhood. Stayed for an Ohio St football game. Walking distance to campus - but definitely not at night.

Near attractions. Halls not clean. We were staying to see my brother wrestle at states. We needed somewhere close enough to the university. We did not have much time to hang around the hotel. The staff was helpful anytime we asked for directions. I did notice the hallways always had crumbs, and the elevator had garbage in it for the entire day, I assumed not anyone cleaned that day. It was not a spectacular stay.

Directions were right on the money! Hotel was clean, quiet & comfortable. Sleeper sofa worn & needed replaced. Breakfast all cold- hot items needed microwaved & toaster took forever. Limited seating in the breakfast area. Need more seating, more toasters & another microwave.

Location. Cleanliness of room, accommodations. Overall I was displeased with the entire stay. The hotel staff had disabled WiFi access to the rooms but also did not have Ethernet cords available. The time that these cords would become available continually changed and I still did not have one in my room prior to departing. The remote control for the television had no working batteries in it and when I called the desk I was told they were also out of batteries. Although the hotel had numerous vacancies I was placed in a handicap accessible room with no bath tub, just a wheel in shower that was dirty. The shower head only reached to mid chest height and could not be adjusted. Finally check out was supposed to be at 11 am, at 10 am the maid entered my room and said to me 'Why are you still here you are supposed to be gone' and then walked out, coming back in 15 minutes saying 'You still here?'. Overall very unpleasant stay.

The facilities were very nice. The service of the staff was abhorrent! I called HQ and complained also! The facilities were wonderful. However, the horrible service overshadowed the facilities by far. The front desk personel were not helpful. Very poor customer service!

I really liked the location of the hotel: right off the highway and close to Nationwide Arena, etc. Our room was not ready when they said it would be. Bugs in the pool. Furniture looks old. Overall, this hotel was comfortable. I was disappointed that our room was not ready when they said it would be. I was also disappointed with the quality of the rooms furnishings: the hotel itself looks brand new, but the furniture in the room was in poor condition. The pool was very nice, however there were bugs floating in it. I will say, however, that our room was clean, there was excellent water pressure (seems hard to come by at some hotels), and the continental breakfast was wonderful.

Surprisingly nice breakfast available in lobby for free. Small mold problem in crack of wallpaper in shower had big affect on travel companion. This 2 star hotel in Columbus, Oh was nicer than the 3 star that we paid. Although no room service was available, the continental breakfast was the nicest I've ever seen. The small amount of mold in the shower area wallpaper crack had a big affect on my travel companion. It was the only cleanliness issue. Surprised to have a mini fridge and microwave in room!

The room was large and comfortable and breakfast was free. Nothing, the hotel was very nice. Convenient and quiet, a good place to relax and stay for sightseeing in Columbus.
