Overview:
The Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History and the Corpus Christi Army Depot are just a short drive away from the Comfort Suites Central Corpus Christi. The area offers a variety of activities, including bird watching, hiking, biking, windsurfing, jet skiing, and surfing. If you prefer indoor activities, there is a community playhouse, restaurants, and two malls in the area.
The Corpus Christi International Airport is less than four miles away from the Comfort Suites Central Corpus Christi.
Guests can opt for a suite with one king size bed or two queen size beds. All suites at the Comfort Suites Central Corpus Christi offer microwaves, small fridges, sofa sleepers, coffee makers, hair dryers, irons, ironing boards, desks, ergonomic chairs, and 37 inch LCD televisions. Free wireless high-speed Internet access is provided.
There is a business center on the property for faxes and photocopies, and there are two meeting rooms available. There is a sundry shop with assorted items for your shopping convenience, and there is also a fitness center on the property. This was the Best family vacation we could have ever asked for. The rooms were to die for, very spacious and nicely decorated. Our housekeeper, [...], was awesome. She took the care and time to make our daughters playpin up and set the boys teddy in the middle of their freshly made bed. It meant alot to us. The hotel was minutes from the beach and other sights, such as the USS Lexington and TX Aqurium. The kids enjoyed starting the day off with a good breakfast, the texas shaped waffles were a favorite. Overall the hotel was a 10 in our book.

I liked the design of the room. Hotel policies about holding credit card information for extended periods after stay. The decoration of the hotel was appealing. The beds were my favorite feature--they were very comfortable. I slept well. However, the sofa bed was not very durable. Having a little more space would make everything perfect considering we have older childern. Cleaning crew did a great job; however, they should remember to vacuum crumbs out of sofa beds and catch crumbs under some furniture pieces.

It is an insult to pay prime rates and not to be able to find a clearly marked reception area. A office building turned out to be the reception - which was closed after 5pm!!! The phone answering service did not know what to do.

We were really impressed by this hotel. There was 24 hour laundry available right outside our hotel room- which makes it really nice if you have wet clothes from the beach! The laundry detergent machine took my money and didn't give me soap, but the guys at the front desk took care of that for me with no problems. The room was clean, front desk staff was excellent, and the FREE- yes I said free- breakfast was top notch- and with Texas shaped waffles to boot! You will love this place. It's a great find for the money, and a great place for families. The only negative is that the hotel is located on a feeder road, so navigating out of the parking lot can be a little confusing at first.

Very helpful and friendly staff! I arrived to my destination 3 hours earlier than normal check-in and just called to see if I could check in. The receptionist at the front desk was very quick to say 'We have your room ready. You can check in any time you would like.' Bed was very comfortable, room was very clean, and shower was roomy. The alarm clock was ever MP3 compatible, so I was able to listen to my own music. It was a great stay.

The Comfort Suites Hotel is a very nice place. I stayed with a friend for 3 days/2 nights while visiting Corpus Christi, and don't have hardly any complaints. Everything you want to do in Corpus is within 20 minutes. The staff is friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean, and there are plenty of great restaurants within a mile or two. One of the best free breakfasts I've had at a hotel, as well. At less than $*** a night, this hotel is WELL worth the money. My only complaint is for some reason, my laptop kept automatically going to the Comfort Suites page on the International Hotels website. Don't know why, but my friend's laptop didn't experience this problem. Comfortable beds. HDTV with an HD DVD players, however, both the DVD player and cable are hooked up with non-HD cables, so the picture is not even close to HD quality. The first night we were here(Thursday) , we got the last parking space at 1 am, and the second night (Friday), it wasn't nearly as full. So parking MIGHT be an issue, but it might not. If you aren't out at midnight, then you will probably be back in time so that it's not a problem.

It was very comfortable ,quite and very clean staff was nice and friendly even when we checked in at 1 am. The location is ok not far from the island but if you forget something you will have to make the turn around. They have security that drives around makes you feel safe with leaving you car in a new spot make sleeping so much easier

Beautiful hotel, comfortable beds, and fabulous flat panel tv and a dvd player. This hotel is clean and looks fairly new still, the only bad thing was the pool was not heated and the hot tub looked in need of cleaning. Great hotel for the money within 10 miles of the USS Lexington, the Texas State Aquarium and the beach. Also close to Wal-Mart and several food places. I went here for spring break with my fiance and daughter and we absolutely loved it, we would definitely book here again!

although the location wasnt as easily accesble and if you had forgotten something and needed to go to the store it was hard to get back to the hotel i liked the friendly staff and the room was nice big and cozy.

This comfort Suites is brand new and completely clean. Beds are extremely comfortable, and every room has a 37" LCD HDTV and upconvert DVD player. Great touch! Best deal that I have seen in Corpus.

The hotel was just fair. My kids enjoyed the pool and my husband the fitness area. Since this was business, I enjoyed the free WIFI. What was lacking was that the morning staff was rude. They obviously wanted to be somewhere else. They would not restock the food because it was 20 minutes to close up breakfast. Someone had their car broken into while we were there. Police said that was the third time that month. I really didnt' want to be there after seeing those things. Almost forgot, our toilet was clogged when we arrived. And it overflowed. They only wiped up. That disgusted me. Called housekeeping but they just wiped up too.

Hotel and rooms were very clean. Staff was great! Full hot breakfast was good. Have stayed in this town many times before at upper scale hotels. This hotel beats them all! I will keep staying here everytime my family and I come to visit. Every room has a 37 inch flat screen and DVD player. High ceilings and beautifully furnished. Thank you Comfort Suites Central!
