I was visiting Carlisle to attend the wedding reception of an old and dear friend. I selected the Comfort Suites due to its' proximity to the party.

The layout of the rooms was very unique and very inviting. There was nothing I disliked aboute this motel. Stay here. You will be comfortable and there is a nice parking garage right behind the motel that you can use for $3 per day and you can come and go all you want. It's nice.

This hotel was a breath of fresh air after our last hotel stay off the expressway the night before. The Comfort Suites had freshly laid carpet and the room was clean! The beds were very comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a pull out sleeper sofa for my daughter to have her own bed. Having the couch and coffee table makes a big difference in a hotel room. Really strong water pressure in the shower, if you like that. The breakfast was great -- eggs, bacon, make your own waffles w/ a choice of sugar-free syrup, cereals, oatmeal, muffins, yogurt, fruit, english muffins, toast, juices, all types of milks -- WOW! You'll need to pay extra $3 per day for a parking pass except on Sundays. Right in the middle of the historic district with quaint shops and restaurants. Sounds do carry from room to room, so if you get a bunch of loud people in the hall you will hear it. I suggest bringing ear plugs to ANY hotel. This was a superb choice for us. LOVED IT.

Being located directly on the main street in Carlisle offers guests the best of 2 worlds. The surrounding areas with real farmers markets and shope plus the stores, restaurants, and shops right in the downtown area. The food in the hotel restaurant is very good and reasonable. You have the front row seating for all the goings on right there on the main street.

Bedding was very comfortable. Desk staff was friendly. Room had trash behind the furniture. Bedspread was stained.

Good, convenient location. Very clean and attractive with many benefits. Will stay in again. Only thing negative was food at restaurant. Very disappointing. Needs a new vendor. All positives as above, with addition of a very convenient to Fairgrounds. You can look forward to Continental breakfast-Many choices. People (of all ages) were great.

Safe comfortable quiet - and convenient location, smoke free - and not to forget, comfortable beds. Rooms hotel staff mostly students that cleaned like their own rooms at home which in the long run will reflect on the freshness of the rooms. Excellent downtown location. Quiet, business friendly environment. Although rooms are not the largest, they nevertheless contained the essentials such as clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. Parking garage in back of hotel was useful.

The bed was great, big room. The internet was slow. No wireless. This was a great hotel. Great location and the rooms were very nice. Right in downtown Carlisle. The only thing that wasn't great was the internet was REALLY slow and no wireless internet! It was better than any other 2 star I have stayed at in the past!

This hotel was pleasant surprise. It is located in the center of town, with an attractive, old-style frontage. Inside, however, the hotel is modern in style, with all of the amenities that travelers have gotten used to. Very comfortable, with inexpensive parking just outside the rear entrance.

Close to the college we were visiting. Dreary decor, old fixtures, not soundproof to street. Just ok/dreary. Met our needs but nothing special. I guess my problem was with Carlisle. Arrived at 6:30 Sunday eve & took an hour driving around till we found a decent meal where a glass of wine could be served. Everyone everywhere smoked. Loud cars outside "tuning their engines" until 1:30am.

The bed was great! I had to pay for parking. I did not expect this is Carlisle, PA. It was so-so. I had a lot of trouble reaching the front desk i.e. It was understaffed. I was surprised to have been charged a surplus for parking. Having said that, the room was excellent and the bed was great!

The staff were friendly, convenience, cleanliness. The parking availability (charge), no pool. Overall I liked the hotel convenience to the interstate its in the midst of the town so you're surrounded by little shops and eateries. The parking seem to be in a municipal building and a charge of $3 nightly. The room (suite) is very big for a family of 6...we had an enjoyable stay.

Over all my hotel stay was was very enjoyable. Carlisle is a nice little town to stay and visit. The hotel was comfortable and staff was very helpful. I would visit there again.

Downtown location, relatively fresh remodel, nice shop on premises. Breakfast was so , Toaster & micro wave in, no jelly or Honey, all plastic tableware. A decent but not great property. No where near as well managed or staffed as Carlisle Hampton Inn. Linens were threadbare and mattresses old style super firm. A/C in rooms was small unit for size of room. Staff friendly but not very professional. I usually pay less for better in this small town environment. No better than third choice of 2 star properties here.
