Comfort Suites was very comfortable and welcoming. Check in was extremely easy and took me less than a minute. Our room was quite large and comfortable. Everything was clean and inviting. When we needed desk assistance with a key, the staff was very helpful and double checked to see if everything was ok. The location was central to the activities we had planned. We will definitely stay there again.

Very pleased with this motel. Staff was extremely friendly. Property appeared to be a little older, but room was neat and clean. In my case, I had 3 adults and 2 children. My room, as advertised, was a 2 queen suite + a pull out sofa. I appreciated that the sheets, blankets, and pillows for the pullout sofa were already in the room. The room was a little larger than a normal hotel room to accomodate the pullout sofa. It had a small kitchenette with refridgerator, sink, and microwave (I think). The hotel is located about 15 minutes from Sugar Mtn and a few more from Beech Mtn. Be aware pacakge stores close at 9:00pm. Generous continental breakfast was included with room and featured scrambled eggs and belgian waffles in addition to the normal mix of toast, pastrys, etc. Heated indoor pool was well lit. Free Wifi thoughout hotel as well as two laptops available for use included in rate. They had the luggage carts in the front lobby, which you don't see much anymore. I took full advantage of this becuase of all of the bags of ski clothes. The only thing I did not like about the hotel was paying an additional $10 for an "extra person" for a 4 yr old child. The rate was based on 4 people, I had 5. As friendly as the front desk was, I imagine I could have gotten them to waive this, but I did not try.

The king-sized bed had plush bedding and was very comfortable. The lobby decor is reminiscent of a lodge - very pretty. Hotel is in a convenient location just off the intersection of Hwy 105 and 321. Easy to get to everything in Boone.

The Comfort Suites is the best hotel closest to App State University -- rooms are enormous, clean and well-appointed. Although the rates are already competitive, the ample free breakfast (with surprisingly large choice of items) adds a lot to the value.

Swimming pool, WiFi and, continental breakfast. Dilapidated. Suite was not really a suite with only a partial room partition.

We travel to the NC mountains every year during "the peak week of fall color" for our anniversary. Sometimes it's a hit or miss with both the peak time and the hotel room we book. This year was definitely a "hit" on both parts! The hotel was large, quiet, and clean. The lobby had a lodge look complete with a huge roaring fire in the fireplace. There is a game room, indoor swimming pool, and fitness room, although we didn't have time to use the pool or fitness equipment on this trip. They also provide a continental breakfast. There was an abundance of pillows and towels in our room. Even though the hotel is close to a busy road, the room was surprisingly quiet! And, for once, we slept on a bed with a mattress that was comfortable! The staff was helpful and courteous. Checkout was the easiest we have ever experienced! There is a 50s type diner next door to the hotel, and many other eating establishments, along with shopping possibilites, close by. We were extremely pleased with our experience with this hotel! We definitely plan on staying with this hotel again next October!

Confortable for couples just visiting the area. It is not recommended for business people requiring lots of working type furniture. I had to make a space for my laptop in an unfortable area.Nice to have wifi. It has microwave and small refrigerator. I has a very limited fitness room: not much use for some one serious about working out. It has a very nice indoor pool great for kids. Excellant full breakfast. Saves money in this resort/college town.`

With pull-out sofa, six people could sleep in one room. Tub/shower could have been cleaner. Thin towels. The room was nicely decorated.

This was a nice property, with indoor pool and more. The staff was slow, first giving me an unmade room, then taking a long time to rectify it. I had to try the key card several times to open the door, recoding it didn't help. The street was hard to enter from the parking lot, due to traffic. The area is nice and has a lot to offer.

The indoor pool water & air in the room were warm! My children and I stay here every year when we go snow skiing. They love the breakfast, the game room and the pool. The pool water is warm and the air in the pool area is warm as well. Usually indoor pools are too cold, but this one is great! We also love the big fireplace in the lobby.

The room was spacious and had a sitting area that made it extra luxurious. Breakfast a little cramped. Nice building with charm inside the lobby and the rooms. Convenient location.

It had a homey atmosphere. It does need some updating in room care. I stayed in the same hotel in Charleston SC a few weeks ago and it was a little more cleaner and may have been a newer hotel. The complementary breakfast was not as good in Boone as the one in Charleston, it was ok for the price.

The hotel layout user was friendly, also the hotel was perfect for a mountain trip. I was pleased with everything at this hotel. The hotel was in a good location, very pleasant mountain setting/theme, and the staff was very friendly. We were very pleased with this choice and will stay there again.

The handicapped bathroom and the in room Wi-Fi. The furniture was well used and definitely needs upgrading. It had nice decor with very friendly staff. The in room Wi-Fi is great. The furniture does need to be upgraded. Overall, the stay was comfortable and quite (much needed). Thanks.

Cozy, warm, friendly. Other noisy children. The room was comfortable and spacious. The hotel staff was helpful and the lobby area was great! The continental breakfast was more than we expected. There were noisy children on our hallway late at night and it took only one phone call to the front desk and it was handled quickly. The hotel was clean on the inside and outside. We will definitely stay at this hotel in the future.

Inviting lobby decor. Supposed to be a non smoking hotel, my room smelled. Nice place. A little overpriced, but there was a football game at the local university.

I liked the amount of space in my hotel room. I did not like that my room did not have a balcony. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space for me and my belongings. I was also happy with the location of the hotel. The only recommendations I have that would have made my stay more enjoyable are a balcony, a DVD player instead of a VCR, and a larger breakfast area. I had to take my breakfast back to my room because there was not enough space. I would definitely return to this hotel again if I were to travel to Boone.
