The room was very small...but considering we were in the heart of Gatlinburg, right in the shopping and tourist district, it was sufficient for our needs. The continental breakfast was very good

Great patio view overlooking the main river. Rooms aren't large by any sense but they have all of the fundamental accessories. Fridge, microwave, high speed internet. Heavy traffic right out front but the walls are well insulated and noise is well muted. The hotel staff went out of their way to help me close a real estate deal while on the road. The staff gets an A+.

I was a little worried when I booked this room based on other reviews, however, we were more than pleased with our stay. We had a balcony overlooking the little pidgeon and didn't have any more spiders than you saw walking from shop to shop. Hotel is very close to the road and there seemed to be a lot of Harley action everynight, which I was afraid would keep me awake as I don't sleep well. This wasn't an issue and I slept well every night. In fairness to the Comfort Inn, most hotels in Gatlinburg are along this same strip of road and probably have the same noise issues. I found the beds to be quite comfortable and there were 4 pillows on each bed. The bathroom was quite small, however, wasn't a huge issue as that's not where we spent our time. We did have to get a plunger when we first arrived, as the toilet was plugged, but after plunging, it was not an issue again. When we arrived, we found the front desk staff to be very friendly. The day clerk was even nicer. We were treated very well and everyone working there was friendly. They were very helpful when we had questions or needed directions in the area. We enjoyed the pool at the hotel and rarely found it to be crowded. The pool was deep, which we liked, however, didn't have much shallow area for kids. If you have kids who can't swim, I would strongly recommend taking life jackets t assure their safety. We had no problems finding parking at the hotel. The breakfast area was small and often was crowded when we went down. Very basic breakfast, nothing fancy, but they did have waffles and fresh fruit. Would stay here again.

I called for a reservation and was greeted nicely. I asked if it was winthin walking distance to the downtown shops and was told it was. However, that's not true, unless you like to the long 3 mile hike to downtown. The desk clerk was rude, the room smelled of mold and had dirt in the corners. There was noise of loud motor cycles & traffic all night. It reminds me of a shady hotel you would stay at while traveling in the 50's. Or a modern prostitue hotel.

It is very close to the main street of Gatlinburg. The restaurant is small and bathroom is tiny. Nice and clean hotel. Location is great and the river view is awesome.

This hotel was a waste of time and money. The bathroom is too small; it was unclean - toliet would not flush and tub has toliet paper scraps in it. Staff was friendly but I would not stay again.

The beds were very nice. The breakfast ends way too soon and nowhere to eat. All in all this hotel was perfect for what we needed it for, though because we stayed during a holiday it was extremely crowded. So we had to walk everywhere, which was fine at first but it's like a mile to anything so after 3 days you're pretty worn out. But overall we loved the hotel, liked the view, a little loud at night but great place to stay!

Bed was comfortable; way too much outside noise from the Parkway leaks into room, lots of motorcycles revving. Nice view of river. Far from most G'burg attractions. Dresser drawer was broken but I didn't need it anyway. Overall ok, would personally prefer to stay off Parkway next time.

We liked the balcony and the convenient location to Downtown Gatlinburg and all the attractions. We did not like the fact that the pool was broken and it was rather loud. Overall it was a nice hotel.

From the outside it looks ok, but it was one of the most unclean hotels I have ever stayed at in the area. The floor was so nasty that your feet were literally black just from walking across the room once. It was discusting. I will never stay here again.

Beautiful view, friendly staff, convenient location. Breakfast lobby was very crowded, hard to get to things. I'm overall pleased with our stay. When we travel to Gatlinburg next time, we will definitely consider Comfort Inn!

I liked the location. Pool was so filthy you could not swim in it. The bathrooms were the smallest I'd ever seen. Extremely loud road outside. I deliberately picked this hotel because of the "stream side view" and the outdoor pool. The view was from about 60 feet up. The traffic from the road was so loud that you could barely hear the stream. Upon arrival we had to wait for 25 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk. When she finally got there she could not find our reservations. Finally after finding them, I asked her where the pool was. She stated that something was wrong with it. We later took at look only to find that it was so dirty that you could not even see the bottom of the pool. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a rip off at the price we paid.

The hotel balcony sat upon the river and was beautiful to look at. The bathroom was a little small and the balcony doors should have been better designed. Okay hotel for our vacation but a little too far from the main shopping street.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, convenient to sites. Pool was dated, parking was tough. Very nice. Balcony on the river, front door opens to walkway facing major thoroughfare, so it may be a bit noisy if you're not expecting it. But it's convenience to downtown Gatlinburg, clean rooms, friendly staff, and price can't be beaten!

It was located on a small stream and it was easy to find. The traffic was very close to the hotel so it was a little noisy. If you are looking for nice economy lodging I would recommend this place.

The friendly staff. The rickety old elevator. We really like the hotel and plan to stay at this hotel next year for our annual Gatlinburg trip.

The balcony view was very nice and the view was nice also. Needed more room for the continental breakfast area, we were unable to find a seat to sit and relax and eat. The hotel was very well kept for the age of the building. Where it sits is in easy walking distance to most of the Gatlinburg entertainment and eating locations. The front desk was very helpful in recommending a nice place to eat as well. just keep your eyes open when walking into town, the local transit buses don't hesitate and give very little room for error.

The view of the river from our balcony was beautiful. The rooms let way to much noise in. The price I paid versus the quality of the rooms was not acceptable. If someone walked down the hall you could hear it in your room, if someone was talking in the next room you could hear it in your room. the hotel is right on the main road and the traffic noise was unbearable, the cars kept us up most of the night. I would not say at this hotel again, and may not use price line again.

The staff was extremely helpful. The balcony over the river was not child friendly. This hotel is in the perfect location for visiting the Gatlinburg area. The staff was very friendly and gave us tips on local attractions to visit. The room was clean and neat. I would recommend it to others who want a reasonably priced hotel in this area.
