The hotel was a little of the beaten path, but very clean and quiet,a good value for a nights sleep.

Friendly staff only 3 blocks from French Quarter. Coffee not available in lobby 24/7. This is a no frills stay. There is an exercise room but no pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful and you are a short walk to the French Quarter. Good budget stay.

Nice option. Close enough to the hot spots, good breakfast, quiet hotel. I recommend

My bestfriend used booked the room for me at the last minute for a birthday night out in NOLA. The location of the hotel to the Quarters, Bourbon and the Aquarium was a great. However, the staff was less than amused to serve, the room smelled, the carpet and the couch was filthy, the queen sized bed was more like a full sized bed. I was highly upset! After being advised that I would not be able to get a full refund on my room, I was given another room. The staff advised me that even though the site said that there were queen beds, there were none. So, being that I had no other choice, I moved to another room. This room was simply a larger version of the first but without the smell. Oh well, lesson learned!

Comfort Inn & Suites in Downtown New Orleans was very comfortable and the desk clerk was very helpful. He provided a map showing us where we could park, which was very close to the hotel, and the location of Walgreens. The room was spacious and very comfortable with 2 full size beds with extra pillows, a refrigerator, and a microwave. The bathroom was conveniently separate from the sink and vanity area. We were on the 3rd floor and the ice machine was on the 5th and 7th floors, but the room did have 2 ice buckets available. I can't really comment on the amenities such as dining, etc., because we weren't there long enough to enjoy them. The only problem we had was finding the hotel. Their sign was very high up and unless you're looking up, you may not find it right away.

Ease of check in and out. Nothing. Our stay was very pleasant and enjoyable.

Hotel is well-located, just 5 minutes from Canal St. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room (single) was a good size and very comfortable. Breakfast was fairly limited. Overall, I was quite pleased and may well return during the next Jazzfest

I only stayed one night, but the room was very clean and the bed comfy. I was close to Canal St. I will stay again. The one downside was parking but that usually is a problem in Naw'lins.

Comfort Inn & Suites Downtown New Orleans was conviently located without being in the center of the hustle and bustle. The bathroom was HUGE..large enough to keep the ironing board up. I was diappointed that it did not have a pool.

Free internet access, location andfriendly staff. The parking deck parkers, beware.

If you are looking for a place to sleep better than a homeless shelter, than this is it. The advertised features included an alarm clock..didn't work, coffee maker..no pot, wireless internet..didn't work..and continental breakfast..a bagel, package of Yoplait, or cereal with room temperature milk. Since the internet does not work, you will be allowed to use their computer in a 4x5 room. No thanks. Be prepared to clean your room when you arrive and during your stay. The staff were friendly, but not helpful. Pay more somewhere else. You will be glad you did. The best thing I can say is the coffee in the lobby wasn't that bad.

The Comfort Inn in the Central District Business in Downtown New Orleans in not the best location I have ever stayed in NOLA. But...the staff helped us tremendously in a family emergency with last minute check-ins, printing boarding passes for our airline and retrieving a forgotten cell phone from our room. Thanks to the staff of the Comfort Inn, this did not turn out to be the disaster it could have been and gave us time to grieve about what's really important in life.

The parking for the hotel was horrible. The hotel's parking was 2 block away. It was only $10 to park but the garage was horrible. The ramps between the levels were so steep you couldn't see beyond your car so if there was something coming you couldn't see them. The hotel itself had a horrible smell. Smelt of burnt popcorn and sweaty gym socks. We called the front desk for more towels and the lady said in a very rude way we had to come down and get them. Every time we would try to get back in our room the key wouldn't work so we would have to try several times to get in.

I have stayed in this Hotel about 2 years ago, and what a difference 2 years makes. It was a very disappointing visit. Upon check in the hotel staff was plesant, but if you need anything after that, forget about it, and the parking situation is sad to say the least. They used to Valet, no more Valets, you park yourself! GOOD LUCK, you will need it!

Easy walk to Bourbon St. Parking off site. Pleasant and helpful staff. Excellent hot breakfast. Convenient to Bourbon St. (5 short blocks).

"Comfiest bed and pillows I've ever encountered! Room was spacious, clean & smelled fresh! Water pressure and hot water were a force to be reckoned with! Also a very quiet room. Continental breakfast offered was pretty good. Room service responded to our needs in a snap! Only complaint is drain in shower and hot tubs were closed. Everything else was A+++! We stayed on the top floor so we had a fantastic view of the Superdome and downtown. Parking at nearby garage was a hop, skip, & a jump from our room. VERY pleased with our stay."
