From the appearance of the hotel from outside the lobby door, right through to the rooms, this hotel is well past its better years. Even taking into account its location, the price charged is far too high. We booked a premium room (over-sized with a jacuzzi); which was beyond basic. The faucet on the tub was hanging off and there wasn't even an extractor fan in the bathroom. The only high point of the stay was that the staff (especially Cheryl), who were helpful and friendly. I realize Comfort Inns are 'middle of the road' in terms of standard, but this was well beneath their usual appearance.

Clean friendly environment that made us feel at home! I would stay here again the next time I travel to Yellowstone National Park! Did not have central air and room was a bit hot until the sun went down for the day.

Our stay was great. The staff was very helpful & friendly. Breakfast buffet was small but worth the 4.00. Very good steak for supper. The location and this hotel made our Yellowstone Vacation more enjoyable than had been anticipated. Stayed 4 days. Will definitely stay again.

This is an OK place to stay if you do not have any better options left. We have stayed for 5 nights in June and we would do it again if need be - the place is not that bad as some other reviews describe it (though it is definitely far from being a place we would recommend). The rooms are of reasonable size and are clean, the carpet smell is present but managable. The air-conditioner is super-noisy, and you can easily hear your neighbour's one even if you turn your own off. Still, the worst part is actually their breakfast - there is a very small assortment to choose from and they do not bother repleneshing it during the morning hours. Unfortunately there is pretty much no other place nearby serving breakfast, and without a fridge in the room it is not easy to do a decent breakfast yourself. This is the major negative about this place, with the price being the close second, as their rates are not on par with their quality and service.

WIFI only reached 1/10 of the hotel. Had to threaten staff with their 100% Guarantee policy. He did get WEP key for Travelodge whose WIFI I could receive. Food choices were slim but steaks were very good. Wait staff VERY inexperienced. Chairs in room were "quaint" log creations and not good for anything but matching room decor. Toilet seat was broken and cleanlines was not something you would like. Limited breakfast. Good for heart disease and not free.

Breakfast choices are limited. They don't have cereals. We brought our cereals, and they don't have bowls or spoons (we asked the hotel staff, they couldn't find any)

Room was clean. Located near edge of town but can walk to food. Continental breakfast did not exist and they give you 3 off of the buffet offered in restaurant on premises which was awful.

The Comfort Inn Gardiner is conveniently located close to the northern entrance of the Yellowstone Park. The view from the hotel is quite lovely and we enjoyed watching sunset from our hotel window. The room size is ok except the closet area was tight. The staff were friendly and I will still recommand this hotel to a friend who has children because it is kids-friendly.

Overpriced hotel, pool is a large spa, continental breakfast is horrible. Had to open windows and doors for hours to cool off room. They are dropping the breakfast to give a voucher to their buffet (you still have to pay). Staff was not responsive (said 15min - was 2 hours). Satellite TV down (very limited channels too).

it was a very nice hotel with very kind and warm staff, i would stay here again if i decide to go to yellowstone again.
