Hotel was a dump for the money, cleaner and just more pleasant to stay in.
Date of Stay:

Opened early for breakfast to allow us to leave on schedule. This hotel is good for a quick stop, but was not really clean or well staffed.
Date of Stay:

The hotel room was clean on the surface, but the carpets were covered in stains, two of the lamps did not have lightblulbs, and the tub/shower had iron stains. There are few places to eat nearby and the location is definitely not scenic. The front desk employees seemed bored and unwelcoming. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are others that I discovered after I had arrived and I will stay at one of them next time. They actually offered suites and were in a great location near shopping cemters and a variety of restaurants for all budgets and tastes. The prices were comparable to this hotel.

The Comfort Inn White River Junction, VT has some problems. The water pressure was almost non-existant in the shower. The bathroom faucet didn't have a cold water setting. The hotel desk staff was not very friendly. I would not recommend this hotel to any of my coworkers that may visit there.

Friendly and helpful staff. Filthy and overpriced. I would not stay at a Comfort Inn ever again, the room was filthy, the non smoking room shared the same floor with smoking so the hallway reeked of smoke, as did the elevator, the shower water temperature was very difficult to regulate, the toilet seat slipped whenever you moved, exposing sensitive areas to cold ceramic, the maid did not replace shampoo and soap we used. We frequently stay at hotels and this was the worst I have ever stayed at.

we stayed for a weekend. our bed was very hard and the pillows were horrible. i called the front desk to try to get additional pillows and was told they were out. how can a hotel be out of pillows? my kids slept on the couch bed which was also horrible. the continental breakfast was very good.

It was clean. Bad selection of channels on TV. The hotel was pretty comfortable and clean. Does not have a fridge or microwave. Pool area was too cold. TV had very few channels to choose from. It's good for a short stay.

Desk staff were rude and the non smoking room was the smokiest room I every had to stay in.

The location was excellent. Toilet was too small and too low for senior citizen. No refrigerator or microwave in room and not enough comfortable chairs in room.

"As a non smoker, you know you're in trouble when staff is hanging out the front entrance smoking a butt. Non smoking rooms shabby and smelled of lingering smoke. Lousy food at the only close full service restaurant makes this $80-$115 per night a rip-off. Turn this into Vermont's premire smokers only hotel!"

Easy computer hook up, free use of computer in lobby, gave us fridge upon request. Service excellent. Didn’t vacuum, had to ask to change sheets after 3 days. Overall a comfortable business hotel, excellent service at front desk, easy highway access.

"This is a clean hotel. The front desk service was efficient, the rooms are small but clean. The indoor pool was a plus for travel with kids. Continental breakfast included make your own fresh waffels - nicer than other inns of this variety. If you are looking for an economical hotel - this is a good choice."

The location of the hotel was good. The hallway smelled of smoke and the non-smoking room also smelled from smoke. The hotel was conveniently located. The front desk staff was efficient but not helpful or friendly. The directional lights for the elevator were burned out. The night light near the bathroom was burned out. The curtain rod was broken. When I told the front desk person that the room smelled of smoke, she stated that sometimes people smoke in non-smoking rooms. The odor was offensive and strong enough to disrupt sleep. I can not recommend this facility.

Location was what we needed. Seemed like it needed updating. The hotel was where we needed to be.

Room was large and very clean. Bed was hard, need a new mattress and pad to make it more comfortable. Also need new pillows. Overall, it was alright. Nice location, good parking, nice room but the bed was hard and the pillows were awful. Didn't sleep very well.

The windows could be opened so fresh air was available. Some machine noise nearby in the early morning. Good property for a budget-minded traveler -- central location in the Upper Valley area, clean rooms and decent selections at the breakfast bar. Good experience.

Continental breakfast, pet friendly, basket of freebies at front desk. The faucet at the sink was a bit tricky to adjust for water temperature. My family really liked the amenities and the breakfast. We went to have our breakfast immediately after an entire college baseball team had their breakfast. We were very impressed with how quickly the attendant cleaned and restocked the breakfast area. We loved the make-your-own waffle system. This hotel stay was definitely a good value!
