This trip was half business and half visiting friends. This location was perfect because it was int the middle of our destinations. The hotel was nice and economical for my purpose.

This hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. It was very convenient for the reason of our stay. Not in the better part of town.

If getting a good niight's sleep is important DON'T STAY HERE. Where to begin... noise from traffic, noise from surrounding rooms, noisy plumbing (toilet ran constantly), stopped up sink (desk clerk said the problem is in all rooms and has existed for years and is not due to a clogged trap). Must be very little insulation....you hear all noises from other rooms. The "continental breakfast" is a joke.

Good continental breakfast. The spa was too cold.

This place was horrible....poor maintenance everywhere. Toilet was broken and ran all the time. We complained but were told...that's the way it always is! Bed was mediocre, and the noise from traffic was terrible. This is a very noisy hotel with poor environment, and even poorer customer service. Don't Waste your money on this place!

good hotel with smart connections either to town as to the highway

It was roomy and over all quiet. The pluming wasn't working, the bathroom was in need of a makeover. It was near a freeway so easy on and off. The bathroom was in need of a major makeover. Overall a good stay.

I stayed in late September. At first I thought it was ok for how cheap it was - basic hotel w/o any frills but less than $* a night. Beware if you want a family place this is not the place to go. I wouldn't be comfortable using the bathrooms in their rooms nor sleeping in their beds after what I saw there.

The Comfort Inn West has one of the best locations for any one coming to visit Phoenix area. Its location very close to Highways 10 and 17 and the Airport makes it so easy for avisitor to move around without fear of loosing his way. Besides its central and freeway close convenient location,I find the rooms clean, quiet and spacious and the continental breakfast absolutely satisfying.Nice dining/ restaurants for relaxing nightout abound within a short driving distance I hope to return any time I have reason to visit Phoenix area. I feel good recommending that you check out freeway close Comfort Inn West during your next businessor family trip to Arizona Highly satisfied repeat guest.12/13/08

Clean, comfortable, affordable and convienent location. When and if I have to go back to Phoenix I would stay there again. I was within minutes of where I had to be. They supplied a list of eateries along with directions.I found this to be a very nice experience.

The hotel staff was not accommodating or helpful. The hotel was clean. It was in a gross part of town with only fast food restaurants around. The only benefit of the hotel's location was that it was close to I-10. The hotel staff was not helpful, I was traveling alone and had lots of luggage and they did nothing to help me with the carriage of my luggage up 3 floors.

Stayed for one night, this hotel is on the edge of an industrial district - nothing around it - but convenient to freeway - room was very clean - staff was friendly - but - many minor problems with room: tv remote did not work, bathtub faucet ran a steady stream constantly - could not be turned completely off, sink faucet gushed water from the handle and base whenever used - flooding counter top, coffee maker had the wrong pot in it, too short, could not be used, microwave was missing a dial, desk lamp had a broken bulb, bathroom fan was so loud it was like standing under an airplane engine, one outlet with capacity for two plugs had to serve desk lamp, refrigerator, microwave, and computer (if wanted to use computer at desk) - so had to crawl on floor plugging devices in and out as I needed them, fortunately, didn't have to worry about the broken desk lamp being plugged in, also - the free high speed internet connection was unusable, signal strength would crash to zero about every one or two minutes, disconnecting me, so I would have to reconnect - ended up having to go with a dial up modem, which meant I took twice as long to get the work I had to do that evening done as I would have taken with a high speed connection; a few more issues I won't bother listing, you are getting the picture I assume; finally, in morning, the complimentary breakfast, well - I went down to the lobby well within their breakfast period, out of almost everything, out of coffee, no one doing anything about lack of coffee and breakfast items - not I place I will stay again

Pool; good weather, service; cleanliness; cable TV with premium channels. Did not have some TV channels that I would like. Very pleasant hotel. Great service. Simple, but suits my needs.

"This place is a dump in a bad neighborhood. The front door glass was broken out, out of breakfast items, my non-smoking room smelled like smoke, carpet sticks to your feet, toilet broke, sink clogged. Need I say more?"

Room had bad odor. Lock didn't work could not get back in after day of shopping. Had engagement to go to and was late for having to wait for staff to open door and switching rooms.

This hotel is right off I-10. Hop on freeway and reach all kinds of restaurants within minutes. Breakfast was okay. Nice that it was included.

It had free wirless internet. This hotel is a 2 star hotel at best. The wall paper was pealing in the bathroom. The ice-maker on my floor was not working. The room was shabby and run-down. The exterior was nice, but the location is not very appealing as I woke to see several transients sleeping on the side of the road on the on-ramp to I-10. It was very noisy during the commute hours with traffic entering the freeway less than 100 yards away.

My non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes. The kid from the front desk threw a hot tub party on Sat. night until 1am
