Quiet and clean. I will be staying here in my coming trips due to the location, cleanliness and nice staff.
Date of Stay:
October, 2008
First impressions were so dissappointing because we had to take a smoking room. Being non-smokers the smell was awfull as soon as we opened the room door. Even the towels had a bad odor when I went to use them. The next dissappointment was when we lay down to rest, the TV next door could be heard in our room. Again in the morning I awoke hearing our neighbors TV, muffled talking and coughing. Room was obviously not very sound proof. As far as decor, this room is definitely in need of updating. Wall paper beginning to peel and paint needing to be freshened up. Then to top it off, the bottled water that was in the room, was charged to our bill when we checked out! Nothing complimentary here.

The staff was cheerful. The hotel was okay. The price more or less in line with Canada prices, but a terrible value. Pets were allowed in the hotel and the dogs seemed to bark continually the first day, we moved down from the first room because the internet could not be picked up from there. I would not stay there again, but in all honesty we extended our initial two day stay to five at the hotel because as poor a value as it was, it was still better than any other we could find. If you must be Edmonton it is an okay place, but just okay.

One of the VERY WORST hotels I ever stayed in.. ever! Very dirty and smelly, noisy, rude staff, ect. The rooms were the worse, just low of the low. Cheap comforter with rips in it. The room stank of oil and smoke (smoke free room apparently). Paid for 115 per night, wasn't worth $50!!! Terrible.

Dry. The hotel. If its a choice between sleeping on a park bench or this place then go ahead and stay. If you like drunks roaming the halls, fighting and yelling all night and ill mannered hotel staff, don't let me forget the construction then this is the place for you.

We were very disappointed with the Comfort Inn. We expected much more for the price, the entire hotel had a smell , the air conditioning unit in our room was very noisy and the blankets were not very clean The hotel is in need of an update.

Stayed here during the April snowstorm in Edmonton, so much of our time was spent right in the hotel. The room was comfortable, and, for the most part, clean. Room service was quick and the food at the restaurant on the premises was excellent. It's also in proximity to several fast food dining options, which makes a late-night run for a snack quick and easy. It's close to the mall, but perhaps the only drawback - and it's a minor one - is it's location on a one-way street, making your trip to West Ed and little more circuitous. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient - all in all an enjoyable stay, and a place that i would most certainly stay again.

Location is appropriate. Uncleanliness. The towels were not replaced, the vacuuming was not done, beds were not remade, and it was an uncomfortable bed that made a sore back of what was suppose to be enjoyable.

the rooms are clean and hotel is fairly quite. best hotel in the area for the price

The hotel was one of the best I've been to up to now and was convenient for whatI was there for.

The location is convenient and easy to find. There is poor acoustic barrier between rooms. I heard every spoken word of the guests next door which means they can also hear me; furthermore, they were not speaking loudly. Not ideal if you want privacy and quietness - especially if the neighbors chat late into the night.

Clean, good location and nice pillows. Very loud hallways and loud gas heater in room. Great place for sleeping only. No frills, good location and friendly staff.

A comfy bed to sleep in. The walls seemed thin - I could hear a neighbor’s TV.

Small rooms. Small lobby.

Small room, gave us a smoking room, which we did not like, small beds, unfriendly staff, not able to accomodate us into a larger room with no smoke.

Location, service, price. No pool or hot tub. The staff was very good. They called within minutes of our arrival in the room to make sure everything was okay. We asked for bedding for the sofabed, and they were there promptly. The room was clean and had all we needed, eg: coffeemaker, blowdryer, shampoo, etc. Very, very good location.

Has motel-style parking and access to first floor rooms. Dingy, uncomfortable bed spread and suspect cleanliness of furniture.
Date of Stay:

Easy to access to the lots around the hotel. Very basic hotel.

We could see our vehicle from the window so we could ensure it was safe. Difficult to find and poor parking for large vehicles. Most awful hotel I have ever stayed in.
