The staff and accomadations were the best we experienced on a 12 day road trip. During our stay my wife felt ill. The staff was able to recommend a clinic that they were familiar with and we were able to get quick attention. COMMENDATIONS TO THE STAFF!

Room was clean with luxurious sheets for a cheap hotel. Breakfast was a wonderful bonus, but wouldn't recommend the orange juice.

We stayed for two nights recently while in town to visit family. Our king sized room reserved faced a "really ugly wall". (the desk clerks words, not mine so we upgraded to a non smoking king suite that faced the parking lot. There were cigarette burns on the bathroom counters. The lighting was dim in the bathroom, with no exhaust fan that I could sense. Several times during our stay we had the very distinct smell of smoke in our room, once at 4 am. The staff stand directly at the front entrance smoking and literally put out their cigarettes to go inside and check you in. That being said.. the staff was VERY friendly and tried to accomodate our need for extra pillows and towels. The pillows here are TINY!! We had a king bed with four TINY pillows....some were feather, some not. Our room was quiet, the breakfast area a bit crowded and upon checkin still had the remains of the previous groups crumbs on the floor. The entrance is dingy, carpet in disprepair. It would be nice with a bit of upgrade and effort. There was a young lady outside in the parking lot at one period of time with her bags. We left for dinner and several hours later returned, and she was still sitting there, smoking cigarettes, in the shrubbery.

Front desk staff rarely there but often out front smoking; personal hygiene poor w/staff sporting wet hair, chipped nail polish, unkept and not professional looking. Continental breakfast removed 5-10 mins. prior to time limit. We had to extend our stay by 2 nights and the Friday night rate almost doubled over weekday rate, but staff didn't alert us to that when we requested the extension, so we were shocked when we checked out. Hotel is in a bad location and hard to find.

The room had good amenities and the high speed internet was wonderful. The night staff was not answering the phone and locking the only entrance, delaying me getting to my room. All in all, decent; Could use some sprucing up but the location is ideal for traveling the Asheville area.

Lovely hotel, but not close and convenient to the Asheville area, particularly as there was construction on I 40.

The room was a fair room. Nothing terrible nothing great. CHeck In was extremely wierd....they asked for my credit card and then they said no....it went back and forth...finally they took it. At about 11:30 pm after a 3:30 pm check in....they called and said my credit card was declined. It was not my credit card that was declined. I told them the creedit card number they refernced was not mine. I checked my back and the hotel bill had already cleared earlier. At about 5:00 am...the alarm clock went off in the other room next store. It buzzed and buzzed extremely loudly for about 30 minutes. I called the front desk and they said no one was in those rooms. I said well the alarm was going off and would not stop. He said I was wrong. About 15 minutes later I called again...finally someone that works in the hotel walked down and opened the empty room. Indeed the alarm was going off at the loudest possible level.

The staff was pleasant. The non-smoking rooms had been smoking and the staff routinely stood outside the front door and smoked. I thought the staff was friendly. The overall upkeep of the hotel does not meet Comfort inns usual standard. I would not recommend simply based on the exposure to cigarette smoke and the "stuffy" smell of the room as well as the uncomfortable sheets.

Great staff, clean and convient. This is a very nice hotel, easy acess on and off highway. Great staff very pleasant, rooms are clean and neat.

Clean rooms and friendly people. Needed more extra blankets in the room. Good room for the money. People friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.
