The Comfort Inn Vauxhall is a London hotel located on the south bank of the River Thames near the Vauxhall Bridge. This is very near the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye, both very popular London destinations.

The Comfort Inn Vauxhall is 16.5 miles from the London Heathrow Airport, and within a short walk to the Vauxhall Underground station. Also nearby are the Waterloo International Terminal and Victoria Express.

The Comfort Inn has large rooms with large bathrooms that are very clean. The location is good with bus 88 stopping across the street which takes you to Trafalgar Square. The neighborhood has some interesting Portuguese restaurants and a great Indian Restaurant - Hot Stuff.

Single RoomThe staff were helpful upon arrival, however the single room was tiny and only had enough room to be able to put your bags down and a bed. The room was very warm and therefore checked out only hours later. Be prepared if are booking the cheapest room as it is very small!

Value for MoneyUpon arriving at the hotel the receptionist was very friendly, efficient and helpful. Room was basic but modern, clean and tidy. A 5-10 minute walk from Vauxhall tube station. Great base for visiting friends in London and sightseeing. A room on the main road may be too noisy for some but after a few cold ones it wasn't a problem! Would definitely stay again as brilliant value for money with very pleasant staff

The comfort in vauxhaull was a very plesant stay. the rooms were kept very nice and everything was to satisfaction.

Ok, but a bit pricey for the amenities the hotel had.The room my husband & I shared was ok, though we requested a smoking room through laterooms, they had to change when we checked in. Our friends room was on the ground floor at the front & painted in a dark depressing colour & with the heat their experience was not as good as ours.Our room was on the 2nd floor & at the back so not noisy like the front of the building. Thought it was a bit pricey for the amenities - no restaurant or formal bar. but just for 1 night it was ideal, nice & clean, reception staff very helpful.

Good service, bad hotelIn my opinion this hotel is about a 2 Star, very small room, shower and loo was a plastic cubicle meaning shower was absolutely tiny. Water was a dribble, generally not very good quality for the price.

Average rating on the Facilities due to the redevelopment of the kitchen / lounge areas which temporarily restricted the services. Good base outside the congestion area on bus route Vauxhall tube station 10 min walk Westminster Houses of Parliament walkable in about 30 mins. Clean Quiet Budget Hotel with reserved car parking at £18 per day booked with hotel.

The CI Vauxhall boasts rooms larger than your typical London Zone 1 standard - but the location isn't great for those looking to be in the center of the city. For us, however, the hotel was close to the bars & clubs, which was a huge plus. In addition, the Vauxhall tube stattion is a short walk away. Room comes equipped with a ceiling fan, but no a/c - could be a problem should the weather ever turn hot since the windows barely open - and when they do, it is onto a busy road. Shower (no bath) had good pressure, and bathroom was a decent size (equipped with 110 volt electricity). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was quite generous, and with healthier food options. Overall, a good experience, and I would recommend this hotel to those looking for a clean & economically priced hotel which isn't 100% central to the sights.

Not quite as close to Vauxhall underground as anticipated and it took a little while to find (though easy once we located the road). Clean, comfortable and efficiently run hotel. Room facing road but set back so very quiet (other than some mechanical services noise). 5 minutes from the Thames so ideal for a pleasant walk into the heart of London.

Spacious clean room with good bathroom, but no fridge.Room faced busy Vauxhall road, so some traffic noise.Undergoing renovations at ground level when we were there, but this did not cause a problem. Bus for city across the road.No character, but usable and convenient.

Perfectly acceptableThe receptionist was friendly and helpful, very efficient. Rooms are well equiped all mod cons but no air con. just a ceiling fan, was very hot in morning sun baking the room. £18- to park the car ouch!

Booked a family room and it was (for London) spacious. Also the room was clean and comfortable. Would definately recommend for families, I was working though and not that suitable for business as no Wifi. Breakfast cheap with kids free, but was basic. Quite a walk from the underground with little ones, but all in all good value for the money.

I stay here regularly when on business. Very clean and comfortable.The only benefit woould be the provision to eat within the hotel in the evening. I don't feel safe walking around in the evening, finding somewhere to eat, so I tend to bring a picnic with me, which isn't really a pleasure.

Comfort InnA pleasent hotel well suited for the theatre/sightseeing trip we planned.There was no reaturant but there are many resturants (mostly Portuguese) and take aways within easy walking distance. We had a very nice meal at reasonalble prices.My only comment is that the tube station is a fair walk from the hotel - we ended up taking a taxi rather than make the journy twice in the same day.

Good basic accommodationStayed for three nights. Room was a decent size, although the ensuite is small - the shower is tiny. Comfortable bed, desk for working, small flat-screen tv. As others have noted, there is a noisy air-conditioning unit (or something) going somewhere in the building, which is noticeable at night and some would find annoying. Local area is ok, ten minute walk from Vauxhall tube. Had breakfast once - not great, but ok for £5.95. Would stay here again for a decent rate.
