Overall it was a decent hotel to spend the night at while traveling through Spokane. However, we were given very bad directions from the front desk person and ended up taking an extra hour to arrive at the hotel based on her directions. I feel that if you are working at a hotel, you should at least know the exit number and how to direct someone to your hotel. She did not even appologize to us when we arrived (and she was the assistant manager too)! Once we arrived, it met our needs and had a good breakfast in the morning. Easy check in and out, clean rooms, quiet.

The Accommodation was good, price very reasonable, large parking space, front deck helpful, hotel is in ideal location. The room had side ceiling panels that were coming loose, carpet had stains near the table area, the pool was crowed with teenagers. Overall stay was fine I appreciated the front desk quick responds to our needs. Very helpful. One thing that I liked was the quietness of the floor levelI was on. Reasonable price rates and my family I did have a restful experience.

Motel was booked as part of a "package deal" by 3 couples from out of town who were attending a wedding. We were not real sure what to expect. The motel has just undergone a complete renovation and everything is fresh and new! Rooms were clean, beds and pillows very comfortable. Each room has a refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast was a great time and money saver for us. The motel staff could not have been any better. They had great suggestions for activities, places to eat and visit. The staff even let us use the Board Room to host a pizza party one evening. The location is such that we had to drive to everything downtown we wanted to do but that was not an issue. We also did not have to be bothered with heavy traffic and trains. I would recommend this motel to anyone.

Location & cleanliness. Some of the staff was not well informed.

I have stayed in many hotels, and by far, this was the worst when it came to rooms. Musty, mold in the bathrooms, smoking and non smoking on the same floor. Staff were not efficient or professional when we asked for a room change, as ours had mold in the bathroom and the beds were on the floor.

My daughter arrived on Amtrak 6 hours late. The staff picked her up at the station, carried her bags to her room and made sure she had some food. They saved cookies for her and went out of their way to help her turn her travel experience around...Awesome service!!! They took great care of her and I appreciated it!!

We had a good stay here at Shilo Inn. Nothing too major to really complain about, and the things that I would complain about are minor. The things that bothered me were the condition of the sauna and steam room (a little run down and needed cleaning). the pool was great as well as the hot tub. The room we stayed in was comfy, but cramped. It has a utility sink in the hallway near the bathroom that takes up room and offers no asthetics to the room. Their was water damage on the ceiling, smoke detector had fallen of the mounting bracket on the wall and their was a horrible stink that came out of the AC unit (the smell dissapeared after a while). I think that the room could use just a little TLC, but it really doesn't require a lot of overhaul. My favorite thing of the room had to be the bed. I was very surprised at how comfortable it was! It was a king sized bed and exteremely soft, I think perhaps the best hotel bed I have ever slept in. The location is great-right downtown and extremely easy to get too off the highway. The breakfast they offer was great too. They had fresh waffles and omlettes and you can eat on the top floor overlooking the city. All in all it was a good experience and I have more praises than complaints about this hotel. I would say a good buy for the money as long as you can overlook some minor asthetics to your room.

The hotel did not have a cafe option so one would need to drive to get something to eat. There was a breakfast in a fifth floor meeting room which was nice for the view.......but the breakfast quality was mediocre. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and very competent.

Easy access toEWU/Gonzaga. Not super clean. Okay for quick business, not very elegant or clean though.

The front desk staff were terrific, and the high quality of the restaurant was a happy surprise. The rooms were adequate, no more or less than you'd expect for a hotel in this range. The only big problem involved the shuttle service. We chose the hotel specifically because it advertised an airport shuttle -- this made the distance from the airport seem like a non-issue. However, at the hotel we were told that we were leaving too early in the morning to be able to get the shuttle, and the hotel would not pay for the 24.00 cab ride. I spoke to the manager when I got home, and he again politely declined to pay. I was eventually able to reach someone in the corporate office (the secretary gave me his cell number) and they did agree to pay the cab fare. Frankly, I don't think they would have agreed to pay if I hadn't managed to get a number they probably didn't want me to have.

Good TV and bed, excellent free breakfast. Old broken iron, broken shower head, noisy fridge and loud music in the hallway all night.

The computer was down when I arrived. I was put into a room that was not completely clean but the bed was clean and it was late. After I had reported the room wasn't clean... I went to bed. They later offered to move me to another room, but I was already in bed so I declined. The last night of my stay I arrived to the room at 11pm. I found the door to my room open (not unlocked but open) and think it was probably left that way since the maid had left many hours ago. Since I had paid through Travelosity, they would not offer me any compinsation. I talked to the night manager and the main hotel manager to let them know there was a problem. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

From our room we could hear the elevator going up and down and the noise in the public restroom that shared a wall. Hard to sleep through the night with all the noise of the elevator and restroom that shared our room wall.

Big pool, good breakfast buffet, quite for its location. Need some upgrading. Great for large groups, the breakfast buffet is self serve but the staff refills everything fairly promptly. If you don't mind the extra drive time to Silverwood Theme park this is a good economic hotel.

Clean room. The WiFi was terrible, and it was not as close to downtown. Next time I'll just pay more and stay in a more convenient location.

It was clean, spacious & the staff was very accommodating. From the moment we walked into the lobby to check in, the staff was very polite & helpful. There's a supply of coffee and apples in the lobby at all times; also available in the afternoon/early evening there are cookies. If you get hungry for a late night snack you can go to the front desk and purchase microwaveable meals or popcorn. Although we didn't use the pool, hot tub or workout room, they were all clean as well.

Great location for Gonzaga U. Safe. Convenient. Clean. Put us first in a smoking room, but, fixed it quickly when asked. Good place to stay in Spokane. Great location. Convenient to all of downtown and U district. Good value for the dollar.
