I have stayed here before and it is consistently a good overall experience. I do feel the rooms are a little basic and could use a carpet cleaning, smells like animals. No printer at the public computer. I have stayed at this location before and would recommend it at sixty-five dollars and below, best value at around forty dollars. Service is great, pool is a plus. Rooms are basic and personally, I believe the carpets could use a good cleaning - they smell like pets. There is also no printer for the public computer. Location is close to area shopping. Consistently a great stay for the price!

The people were very nice. The room was not great. The bathroom was very small and you had to go all the way in to close the door. There was damage on the ceiling of the shower that we found aut a couple of night later why. When the people upstairs don't put in the shower curtain, in pours into your shower. When I called the front desk they knew right away what was wrong. That means we were not the first with this problem. At the same time the toilet cloged and we asked for help. The man at the desk was very nice, but said we could come and get a plunger but the maintaince man was on vacation and he was the only one there. They did move us to the next room the next day. It was the worst hotel I've stayed in.

Staff was very friendly. There's nothing that I didn't like about this hotel. My stay was very pleasant. The room was very clean and the desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice rooms, good location, great value. Would definitely stay again. Had discounts and menus for number of close restaurants. Only complaint is that desk clerk or other staff were always using the guest computer. They happily gave it up if you asked...but you had to ask.

Walking distance to restaurants. Close to train tracks.

This hotel had all the usual amenities that one would expect from a value-priced hotel. (i.e. high speed internet, basic continental breakfast). The indoor pool was an added bonus and a hit with our daughter. While not the newest hotel, the rooms were nice and meet our needs with two small children and one set of parents. To note, the bathrooms were a bit small and the ceilings / floors are not concrete. The best aspect of this hotel was its convenient location with respect to our vacation plans. We would consider staying there again when we return to Central Vermont.

"The pool temperature was just right, I was able to get breakfast right before I took the train to Lake George, and the South Station restaurant was adjacent (open till 11pm) and they gave a discount. Only problem is they shouldn't say it's <1/2 mile from amtrak when it's really 1.5 miles, especially if I have a chronic medical condition. Other than that, it was a fine stay."

"this is the best hotel to stay in, the rooms are amazing, the staff is extremely friendly and it is centrally located to tons of area attractions! the rates worth the stay. NONE OF THE OTHER HOTELS IN THE AREA COMPARE!!!!"

Great location. Toilets prone to clogging at everything. I was a little concerned when we arrived because our room was above the pool, across from the hall entrance and ice machine, and the hotel was situated very close to the railroad tracks. It was no problem at all. The sound insulation was excellent and we slept well while we were there.

Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Needs better parking. Lovely hotel with all the amenities. Restaurant across the parking lot, convenient to the highway and good location.

Clean and friendly staff. Can't think of anything. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The people were nice the room was clean and warm. The room was nice and big too. I felt very comfortable staying there. I would definitely stay there again. It was in an area where there were lots of restaurants and other things to do. The continental breakfast was also the best I've ever seen.

Convenient location. Walls super thin, hear everything around you. Got no sleep the night I stayed. Tour bus full of teens came in before me and were running down the halls till after midnight. You can hear all footsteps, voices, and doors closing. My room was next to a service closet and had a compressor turn on every 10 minutes and would shake my bed. Front desk did nothing about it even though I called twice. Heater/AC unit too quiet to drown any noise.

Very clean, everything appeared new and fresh. Too far from Okemo mountain, but thats no big deal really! It was an excellent stay! Very clean, friendly service, easy check in and out. Awesome.

The staff was wonderful! Dry, winter air in the room. We stayed for one night in Rutlan before staying a few nights in a condo in Killington. A GREAT hotel for the money. Continental breakfast included and the staff was very friendly.

Room was nice. Very noisy, walls are paper thin. However because of the indoor pool, there were a ton of noisy kids here. The walls are paper-thin and you could hear everything all night long.

The free breakfast! No conditioner in the bathroom. This was a great little hotel for us while we were skiing at Killington. We had a nice clean room and bathroom and a delicious free breakfast.

After skiing pool & hot tub were great. The staff was great. Room was very clean and attractive.

Staff was very friendly & helpful! Convenient location to shopping & dining. Being a skier it's located a little to far from mountain ski resorts. I would give higher rate for it public facilities if the sauna would be working.
