Not the best kept hotel, top sheet on bed had a hole in it, border around room torn off in 2 places and showed smaller border they papered over. Rug run up walls on three wall instead of baseboard, except on 2 wall torn off. Bathroom had only 1 light and not enough light for shaving and etc.

For a Comfort Inn (Part of Choice Hotels International), you expect a clean hotel with a courteous respectful staff. This was not the case at this location. Found 2 bugs in the room and 1 in the front hallway. The room was obviously spot cleaned. Dirt and cobwebs in the corners. The desk was dusty and the desk chair had a broken arm. The shower head had black mold on it. Pool was so dirty that kids were able to carve their initials on the side. Overall this was a very dirty hotel. Staff was unfriendly and did not care about our complaint. I would not stay there again.

The breakfast was pretty good. Room entrance door would not shut or close easily.

My husband and I stayed here this summer jjust touring around the area. I must admit, the staff what fantastic, we stayed at Comfort Inn in the Harrisburg area last year, and they were very very rude. They were friendly, imformative, and very helpful. The room was large, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious for a continental breakfast. The employees apparently liked their jobs and were happy the people were there. We heard no noises at night, the entire place was very very clean, and did not have a medicinal smell. The vending area was stocked well. For the price, this was excellent, and when we are in that area again, we will stay there.

No room smell and pet friendly; very quiet; internet. Very good for Comfort Inn type motels. Location next to upscale shopping; convenient to I-70.

My family stayed here the weekend of Thanksgiving to enjoy the lights of Olgebay. When I called to make reservations, I was told the only rooms available were smoking. I have stayed in smoking rooms before but this was the absolute worst. I had to go out and purchase Fabreeze and Oust to try and get rid of some of the odor. The hotel needs "freshen" the rooms when they clean. Also, there wer several cigarrette butts on the floor when we got to the room - not cool with children and dog!The beds were terrible. Both double beds had huge indentations in the middle of the beds.On a positive note - the breakfast provided was very good.

Location, cleanliness. This is the second time we've stayed there in the last 5 months, and would stay again if in that area.

Pool area was nice. Breakfast was to be served until 10 am and both days by 9 they ran out of food. Hotel was clean, all housekeeping did was replace towels on day 2, breakfast was horrible both days they ran out of food a hour before it was to end and refused to put out more. Certain staff members acted like you were bothering them if you came to the desk. Pool area was nice and clean.

Entrance was dark, old out dated vending machines. Carpet was worn in the hallways, smell of cigarette smoke was present . Hotel looks run down and dark .

It was overall clean with a friendly, accommodating staff. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel while visiting local relatives. Each time we got we expected and only wished we had more time to take advantage of the pool and spa.

Location. Indoor pool was too cold to even let my daughter swim. Hotel was clean, we were in smoking room and it smelled like it. We are not smokers. Great location. Just expected more. We stayed at the hotel across the highway going out to our vacation site and it is the same rated hotel but was much better at a cheaper price.

It had everything our family needed, indoor pool, microwave, coffee pot, nice shower, good mattresses, pillows, and pet friendly. Nothing. This hotel had everything our family needed, an indoor pool, pet friendly, microwave, refrigerator, good mattresses, coffee and a great breakfast the next day.
