Great location located next to Black Angus w/bar. Within a 8 min walk to Convention center and Esther Park.

Recently remodeled, clean, convenient location, flat-screen television. Room was small.

This motel is showing its age a bit and needs some upgrades to decor. Breakfast was a plus with great waffles but a cheap biscuits and gravy. (Water, flour and seasonings.) Beds were comfy and staff friendly although young desk clerks seemed easily distracted.

Friendly, quiet, room had a fridge and a microwave. The carpet was dirty in the room. Not fancy, but not slummy.

The location was ideal. The restaurant was in the same parking lot as the hotel. Too good!

Convenient to freeway, good breakfast. Cannot think of a thing. Would recommend this hotel to all travelers that want convenience to Portland.

Friendly, nice breakfast and quiet. Abit dated in decor. Nicely located, middle of downtown, good breakfast, friendly staff, customer sensitive.

It is quiet and close to the freeway. The staff was slow and confused and did not know about local area. Tourist spots. You can see the hotel from the freeway. But the directions are confusing and do not make since. You just have to wing it. When asking front desk about a historical site less then a mile a way. She was confused and did not know about it. She was slow with the check in and seemed more interested about her telephone call with her friend. The room was clean and large. TV was very small. Each room had a microwave and fridge an added bonus. When checking out took way to long and the new front desk person seem easily distracted and had to re ring us out 3 times because of errors.

It was close to where I wanted to be location wise. It was not a 2 star hotel. It left a lot to be desired. It was horrible compared to the Shilo facility at Ocean Shores. The bathroom was small and set up weird. The water temperature was unpredictable from one moment to the next. You were either getting scalded or frozen, there was no happy medium. The toasters at the breakfast did not work. I would not return to this hotel. Motel 6 would have been a better place to stay the night.

The staff was willing to work with the room selection. Hotel could have been updated. I was pleased with the overall service of the staff. I would suggest a remodel and modernization.

The check in and out process was quick and easy. The room smelled like stinky dirty feet and mold. We stayed at this hotel a few years back and found it to be a nice hotel. But it has greatly declined over the years. Our room smelled so bad that we had to leave the window open - in the winter! Even our little kids complained it smelled bad. One of the chairs was broken and my child fell on the floor when she sat in it. The lamp by the table did not work. There were old stains on the wall paper that had not been cleaned off and the towels were stained. I will never stay there again.
