Could really use some renovation. Staff were friendly, close to the center of town, wireless Internet worked fine, but the room itself really felt old and a little scruffy.

Proximity to airport and city attractions. I was on the smoking floor. The whole city was booked solid due to the Rodeo. Extremely friendly and helpful hotel staff. Access cards for doors and elevator so I felt very safe.

Great staff who went out of their way to accomodate our wishes.

My partner and I have stayed at the Comfort Inn downtown a number of times, and we have found the hotel to be consistently clean, comfortable, and quiet, with friendly staff, and a good location. It isn't fancy, but it is a good place for a comfortable weekend escape that won't break your budget. The suite in which we stayed was apartment-like, and had a fantastic jacuzzi. A great room, and excellent value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I am a loyal ChoiceHotels member. When a hotel in this chain doesn't meet expectations, then I want to let others know about it. The hotel is very outdated. The temperature settings are not user friendly. When I complained about how hot it was in my room, someone promptly came up to my room to check it. They looked at the wall unit, and then opened my window and said that should help my room cool down. So for the three nights, I had to sleep with the window open to listen to the street noise. The complimentary breakfast setup was horrible, and not close to the quality I am used to with other Comfort Inns. I will say the desk staff was friendly, but the hotel didn't have much else going for it. Also, the internet was down almost my entire stay.

A good deal for the price we paid, the highlight of the hotel was the u-serve waffle machine at the continental breakfast which was a nice treat. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly, making for a stress-free stay. Downtown Edmonton is a bit of a traffic mess, so I'd recommend you stay on the same side of the river (running east-west) and train tracks (running north / south) as the sights / events you're going to Edmonton for.

The hotel is simple! Nothing flashy, i was only there from Sat night and left Monday morning. When i checked in on Sat, i was in a room on the 3rd floor that was close to the road and it was very annoying listening to trucks and cars so I asked to be moved to a different room. The front desk was a little hesitant, i guess because it was at 1.30am but he moved me anyway to the 4th floor ""Executive Level"" wooooooo...It was quiet there but it the hallway was stinky! People were smoking weed in their rooms! Anyway, i dont think that I'll ever stay there again. Overrall, it wasn't bad."

I had to have the heat fixed twice. My room had a frige and microwave but no outlet to plug them into. Employees were pleasant and location was good for my visit.
