Man at front desk was very helpful. I was lost getting to hotel, called and he directed me to the hotel. It was dark, late and not familiar with the area, so I was pleased that he was so kind.

The noise from the bar was annoying and lasted till early morning. Just alright. The bar in the lobby played loud music I could hear in my room till 3 am.

Common areas not clean. Bathroom not clean. "Breakfast" not at all appealing. No food/restaurant/bar available on certain weekend hours. Add $10 to park. Not worth price. Hotel needs remodeling, updating.

The hotel itself is nice on the outside with indoor/outdoor swimming. I could tell they did some remodeling in the inside of the main lobby, but overall the hotel still looks old-fashioned in many areas. The rooms has had some remodeling done, but again the bathroom besides the tub needed an overhaul including the ceiling. Maybe if they finish everything it would be a nice place to stay because the staff was friendly and helpful.

THis was the perfect hotel to crash at after enjoying a night at Summerfest. It is located in perfect walking distance.

Conveniently located near the lake shore, museums, restaurants. Parking ramp was small & cramped. Decent hotel for a 1-2 night stay, if you want to be near the lake for summer fest, or the museums, etc. Quality of hotel & rooms was average: clean but not upscale Staff was friendly & helpful.

The Comfort Inn and Suites Lakeshore was an excellent Hotel. When I had trouble with noisy guests, they immediately talked to the guests. When it wasn't resolved immediately they upgraded my room and changed floors. It was so quiet and peaceful on the 5th floor. The housekeeping staff was excellent and very prompt. It has an excellent location-2 blocks from Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee Art Museum, and is within walking distance of everything downtown including the river walk and brewery tours. The rooms were small, the bathroom barely big enough to turn around in, the closet door and bathroom door couldn't be opened at the same time. You had to wait 3 to 5 hours for housekeeping to respond, and many times they didn't come at all. Stay at Comfort Inn next time. You won't be sorry.

Continental breakfast. Hearing water go through the pipes for other rooms. Very loud. Parking was confusing. Bathroom very small. No place to set your things down. In room itself no extra counter space. Desk was already crowded with literature from hotel. But beds were clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was good. Even able to make your own waffles. Staff was friendly and helpful and hotel itself appeared to be clean.

Very rude/inattentive staff, inadequate parking (costs 10 per night, not enough spaces). I tipped the housekeeper/maid 5 and she didn't empty coffee or provide refill packs, room not cleaned (day I tipped.)

The staff is very friendly and helpful. All seem willing to go the extra mile to make sure of comfort. The hotel's internet option consistently underperformed, as signal was either weak or non-existent. There are only two dining options within walking distance. However, delightful walks along Lake Michigan are only a short distance away.

Excellent location, low price for the area. Peculiar restaurant. Located close to the lakefront park and art gallery, in a nice neighborhood, very reasonable price.

The room was small, WIFI didn't work and no one would help us get it working, phone in room didn't even work. They do have a cool, upscale bar/restaurant called Aqua inside that is nothing like I have ever seen. My husband also said they had a pretty decent free breakfast spread. They provide a free shuttle service, which was very helpful for us.

Thank goodness I did not need a sofabed and was not relying on the presence of one. There wasn't one. There was only a wicker loveseat and chair in addition to another chair and the king-size bed. However, for the amount of money I was charged for the room, there should have been a sofabed. Also, the wallpaper was peeling off the wall. In general, the room just looked shabby. Not $40-a-day-flophouse-shabby, but shabby nonetheless. There was a jacuzzi tub that worked. However, the timer did not work properly. The hotel was close to the venue. I didn't see any vermin. I did book last minute on the weekend of German Fest. Still, it was a bit disappointing and not a ring endorsement for the Comfort Inn & Suites Chain.

Near lake and close to where I had to go. Everything was very safisfactory. Nice rooms and could not hear anything going on in other rooms- very nice.

In such a great location, disappointing stay. No heat, no cable, wallpaper coming down and unattentive staff after mentioning the problems. Left comment card no response from management.

This hotel is in a great location, between Lake Michigan and downtown, both within walking distance. The room was clean and the decor was modern. I paid extra for a lake view room which was worth it so I could like from my bed and see the beautiful lake. The free breakfast is great, including waffles. Lots of great restaurants close. Its in a safe neighborhood. There's free wifi. My only complaint was that the shower had a very weak stream of water. Everything else was great.

Cool bar with unusual appointments. No pool. Great location and convenient to local sights. Set apart from commercial area. Convenient parking. Breakfast was great; adequately serviced and reasonable hours.

The shelves in the shower were nice, plenty of room for shampoo, soap, etc. No vanity in bathroom, just a pedestal sink. Parking was tough; we brought a truck-got blocked in on upper level the first night. The lake is pretty far unless you're on the rooftop patio. The lounge/restaurant was nice. The beds were comfortable, but there was no countertop in the bathroom to put out personal beauty items. And there was no laundry bag in room. In the halls, the ceilings are short and the ceiling tiles need repair.

Helpful staff, shuttle service, continental breakfast and great location.
