What are your breakfast options?: As for breakfast, it is all room service as we do not have a restaurant. Room service starts at 7:15am and continues through until 8:30am. There is a large selection of items to choose from such as cereal ($3.50), fruit and yogurt around the $7.00 mark, bakery items such as muffins ($3.00), toast ($3.00), pancake ($7.50), cooked dishes such as bacon on toast ($10.00), Big Breakfast (18.00) and many more.
What transport is available to get around?: When it comes to public transport most things are only a few minutes' drive. You have the option of taxi or buses (there is a bus stop out the front of the building). The centre of town is a 2 minute walk, and markets are a 10 minute drive (only on Sunday until 1:00pm). The closest beach is in Geelong and again a bus will get you there (about an hour and half away).
What can I do nearby?: As for attractions, we have our most popular tourist place being Sovereign Hill, The wild Life Park, Lake Wendouree and activities consisting of The Ballarat Ghost Tours, and the new Big Minor Mini Golf.
As a family, what are the best things to do?: The best family things to do in Ballarat is Sovereign Hill, Ballarat Wildlife Park & Sovereign Hill’s night show “Blood on the Southern Cross”
Do you have internet?: Yes, we have internet in our rooms; it is wireless and usually $11 for a 24 hour time period.
