The hotel was clean and newly remodeled. Located on a lower end of Chula Vista. Overall the stay was good. It was clean and comfortable.

Initially we were a little worried that we were too far from the action of downtown. However we quickly realised that the trolley takes you right into town for about $2 (20 minute ride). Becase it's not in the heart of downtown, it means you get a really quality hotel for much less, so if you're budget-concious, this is for you. If you're at all health concious, the free breakfast will not appeal - bland eggs, waffles, sugary cereal and sugary drink being passed off as juice. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

This hotel was worth every penny. New updated rooms with plasma TV with HD. Great staff. Small store in lobby open 24 hrs. Will return for the next off road race in Chula Vista.

From the first moment I stepped into the hotel, things were bad. The front desk help was surly and unhelpful. The room-- while spacious-- smelled odd when I walked in and for a FIRST FLOOR ROOM THAT FACES THE MAIN STREET AND PARKING LOT-- it had NO drapes, just sheers. As a single woman traveling for business, I did not feel comfortable at all. I would NOT recommend this property to anyone, unless it was a last resort. It's clear that they put a lot of money into furnishing the hotel and its rooms, but honestly, the location is just terrible.

I can't sy enough nice things about the Hotel and their staff. We were in Chula Vista to visit my son who is in the Navy. We found brochures in the lobby for good things to do, San Diego Zoo, Old town, Sea Side Village, as well as convinient internet and fax services to find out more. The breakfasts were good and the hotel was convenient to the navy yard. Down town San Diego was only 10 minutes aaway by car or Trolley.

Clean and well maintained. In a somewhat seedy part of town. The hotel is clean and well maintained. I found my room a bit cramped but well laid out. The location is convenient. The pool and spa were sufficient in size and comfortable. The exercise room was a closet. The provided AM meal is adequate if you are grabbing a quick bite on your way somewhere. It is not dining. There are a number of homeless and pan handlers in the immediate area. More than sufficient, safe parking. I would stay here again.

It was a great hotel and you could expect nothing more.

This hotel has free parking (unlike downtown hotels) and is walking distance to the trolley. That makes visits to downtown and Tijuana very convenient, especially after a few drinks. Clean hotel with decent breakfast. Rooms on the first floor are a bit noisy however.

Free wireless internet. The wireless internet network went down. There are not a lot of hotels in Chula Vista. This is better than most of them, which may not saying much.

The room had tons of TV channels, a nice few of the marshes, and a mini fridge. There was a mini fridge cart, but no microwave in room even though the top of the cart was designed for one. Very clean, good breakfast (not just rolls, but eggs and sausage). Felt very safe parking the car in the area because of good lighting and main street location. A few stop lights to the left and I-5 was just around the corner to lead into a 15 minute trip Downtown, but could not hear the noise from the interstate. Overall very quiet also. Will definitely return to this hotel since I commute to San Diego frequently.

Clean room and grounds, friendly employees, mini store on site. Slow elevator. No inside stairs. This hotel was clean and easy to find. The employees were warm, welcoming and helpful. The pool and Jacuzzi areas were clean. I would recommend this hotel to other travelers. I did not have the opportunity to enjoy their complimentary breakfast.

It was very nice and clean and very reasonably priced and the breakfast included was good. It was much nicer than I expected and really clean and had nice facilities. Gas station/convenience store, bar, nice family restaurant, fast food and donut shop on the same block. I will stay there again when I'm in San Diego.

Everyone that worked in the hotel was nice and helped me with any problem or question I had. I think the price was a little too high. It was a nice hotel to stay at. It was clean, the employees were nice and helpful, and the roomI stayed in was nice. It wasn't the best hotel I have ever stayed at but its far from bad.
