What are your breakfast options?: We offer a free enhanced Continental Breakfast which includes make your own waffles, variety of pastries and breads, cereals, fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, bisquits and gravy, along with juice, coffee, teas and milk. Breakfast starts at 6:00am till 9:30am on weekdays and 7:00am to 10:00am on weekends.
What transport is available to get around?: Unfortunately, there is no local transportation service in Story City. A number of major rental car agencies are available at the Des Moines International Airport. There is a shuttle service "Executive Express" that provides shuttle service from DSM to Story City however.
What can I do nearby?: Regarding attractions and entertainment, we are located 10 miles north of Iowa State University and Ames, Iowa which has a variety of options regarding movie theaters, malls, etc. Locally we are next door to an Outlet Mall; we have several historical sites in Story City and are 1/2 mile from the local golf course. We are 35 minutes from Praire Meadows Casino and Race track and Adventure Land Amusement Park. We are also 45 minutes from the State Capital which is located in Des Moines, Iowa.
Do you have internet?: We offer free high speed internet. Rooms are hardwired and wifi equipped.
Do you provide parking?: We also have plenty of parking at the hotel, at no cost, however we do not have a valet service.
