Went for a doctor's appt. at Univ. of Minnesota. I was NOT fond of the mold growing in the shower. My grandsons who were with me had a blast in the pool. Also, was not happy that I did not get a medical discount for staying there.

The staff was very friendly and was amiable to my young kids. The pool was also very nice because the water was very warm. Lack of cleanliness in the rooms. I would not recommend this hotel just because the rooms felt dirty and the bathroom was unfriendly. Even though the staff was exceptionally friendly, the location convenient and the pool nice and warm, the atmosphere of the rooms made my stay unpleasant.

No hot shower (broken), the hot tub is cold, pool has loose railing, old wrinkled fruit, broken hardboiled eggs, juice broke, coffee was weak, vending/laundry marked ""use at your own risk and out of order"". Complained on Saturday 6pm that we were there 2 nights and our room didnt get cleaned, front desk said if your still in there at 11am it doesnt get done, even if staying 2 nights. The room was empty 12:00 noon to 5:30pm. When I complained frontdesk didnt even take my my name/room #/ for follow up so the level of service expectation by the management/owner must be low. "

Upon check in I was given a room on the 3rd floor with no elevator to get to the 3rd floor. I stayed for two days and since I have problems going up stairs I told the clerk I needed a room on first or second floor. I was told by the clerk that someone needed to fill the 3rd floor rooms. There is also a factory that is open 24 hours 7 days a week that makes alot of noise which I found to be unbeleivable! They serve a breakfast but do not empty out the garbage so people had to through out there garbage on the floor or just left it on the table. I would never go back to this hotel again.

If you don't mind having to climb stairs for the lack of elevators, very old mattresses (they do need to be replaced), and not having your room cleaned on a daily basis...well, other than that, it wasn't too bad. I was surpised to see a pool and hot tub. The continental breakfast was ample, altho a bit on the sugary side. Great location. Older hotel that had been upgraded, but not the electrical. Not enough outlets, and the ones that were there were overloaded. Lighting was poor.

One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The staff seemed incompetent and either were rarely at the front desk or when they were there spent most of the time talking to friends on the phone. Kids were running around on 2nd floor and staff seemed apathetic and clueless until police were called due to a disturbance on late Saturday evening. The breakfast bar and pool seemed nice but all the other issues brought the overall stay down for me.

We stayed 4 days at this hotel. They say satisfaction is guaranteed- not so. The 1st room we checked into (3rd floor-no elevator) smelled so bad I requested another. The next room smelled a bit but the fridge was broken, the floor looked unvacuumed, stains (yellow) on the bathroom floor. The spreads were dingy & old. We definately overpaid. The pictures online don't represent the place acurately. I would have rather stayed in a tent.

The Comfort Inn Savage was full of employees who looked like they didn't enjoy their jobs very much. This attitude carried over into how they treat their customers. The hotel had no elevator and we were given a room on the third floor. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and there were visible stains on the box spring and mattress. The pool was decent. The breakfast was passable, although the fruit wasn't fresh. I wished we had stayed a little closer to St. Paul.

I was very close to the family that we were visiting. My son got electric shock by the light switch and they would not give us another pillow.

Doors need adjustment. Elderly mother had trouble trying to pull open door in the room, said it was to heavy.

It had an indoor pool. The ceiling tiles were old and sagging. If you need to travel between Edina and Savage, this hotel is fine. Go to the Buffalo Tap down the street, the food is good.

My wife and I had a nice stay--room was closed but a open window for a moment put fresh air into it--tv was a little fuzzy--morning waffle was good--service at desk was great--good eats next door

The lobby and pool area were nice. Very uncomfortable bedding, staff unhelpful, security door didn't latch. The hotel was in a nice location and wasn't hard to find. Checking in was probably the best experience of the whole stay. When I checked in, my room wasn't clean and the cleaning lady wasn't helpful at all. When I came back later that night and used the "securely" locked back door, I didn't need my key, as it was left ajar. The bed was no thicker than 5 inches and I have slept better on a sofa bed. If staying at this hotel again, I¿d go through the hotel's webpage, as I feel I was cheated out of.

Free wireless Internet. Rude staff; dirty rooms not restocked; bad billing; lousy breakfast. This experience will keep me from ever booking a Comfort Inn again. The rooms were dirty, the staff rude and inaccurate in billing, key maintenance, and the eating area was unsanitary.
