Appalling My friend recently stayed at this establishment on 28/10/2008. She travels frequently for work, and unfortunately for her she booked herself in here thinking it was the more 'upmarket' comfort inn up the road. She realized her error the following day after a night of discomfort (in which she describes the room as "creaky" and "scary" ;admittedly this may be a different experience for a man) she called work to check the details of her accommodation. Realizing she should have been in the comfort inn hotel up the road - she went to check out. Presumably because they were having occupancy issues she was confronted by both the female and male owner saying she had to pay for 2 nights. Im not going to go into who is wrong or right here - but she was at first verbally attacked "I’ll knock you down". Being up set now, she went to leave and go to her car, where she locked the doors. The irate male owner proceeded to follow her to the car and was beating his fits, with force, on her car window continuing to berate her with profanity. As she was frightened she reluctantly relinquished her corporate card to dissolve the dispute which was now clearly out of hand. Let this be a kind warning for you. Do not stay here!
