We stayed one night at the hotel and we were very pleased. The hotel was clean and very quiet. It had easy access to the dunes. We were able to eat at Applebee's nearby and then go to a really nice movie theater afterwards.

Allowed dog. Smelled musty/cable out half the night. Way overpriced for the shabby room you're given if you are traveling with a pet.

I was traveling with my 81 yr old mother, a girls getaway. When the front desk saw her, they moved us to a downstairs room. The front desk was very sweet and helpful. Mom enjoyed the breakfasts there. She really loved the fresh and hot waffles. The rooms were quiet and clean. They had coffee around the clock. When we ordered delivery pizza the girl at the front desk even provided us with napkins, plates and forks. Way more than the pizza place did! Our room included a coffee pot with coffee and tea, a microwave and a refrigerator! Mom wants to go back in October and stay there again! When mom's happy every body's happy!

I spent this past weekend at the Comfort Inn on Willowbrook in Portage..and I want to say that it merits a 5 star rating..The room was extremely clean, and the staff was friendly. All amenities needed were available..on arrival. The area and hotel were very quiet..and considering that there was Cat Show..and a lot of the guests were travelling with their pets..I was rather shocked to find out..that most of the guests had pets with them..as we didn't hear any noise..and the hotel was extremely clean..It was in short..and excellent stay..and will definitely stay there, next time my family or I are in that area..

Reasonable cost, continental breakfast included. Non-smoking room smelled of smoke, heater unit wasbroken. There were a few minor things wrong, slight odor in our room but it was otherwise clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful when we had issues (heating unit, keys that failed, etc.)

We received a room and found out after that there wasn't an elevator...I had a new ankle injury and steps were not good for me. The key hardly worked...after you run it through the automatic lock, it finally worked. We are smokers and got a smoking room on the 2nd floor...ouch. No ashtray in the room, so my husband went and got one. The woman was new, so it took her quite sometime to find one....she never did find out so she went to an wmpty smoking room and took one from there. The bathroom floor was gross! I'm not sure if I wanted to call it mold or mildew...it sure wasn't dark grout. They leave their waffle mix sitting out in individual cups so it is easy to pour...who knows how long it was sitting out. Since there were some insects flying around, I didn't trust to eat a waffle. For $100.00 I would expect more!

Easy access from the highway. Trains ran by all night sounding whistles. Driving up the hotel was everything that I had expected. I was very pleased with the location right off of I80-90. The hotel was clean and everything looked up to par for a Comfort Inn. However, during the night, it seemed there was a train going by every half an hour and sounding its whistles/bells. It woke me up at least 4 or 5 times. I thought that I was reliving the movie my cousin vinny. Other than the noise, everything was great. I would stay there again because the accommodations were fine and the location was perfect for my purpose, but I would definitely bring earplugs.

Arrived at hotel after 3:pm and was told my king size bed room was ready. I had reservations for a room with 2 queen beds. Was told they had no queen rooms cleaned up yet and i would have to wait a hour for them to get one ready. Keep in mind i just had driven 580 miles. Came back in about a hour and the room was ready. Tv in room would not work properly and hotel staff was not plesant to deal with over the problem. Will not stay there ever again.

As far as just having a nice, quiet place to get some sleep this is ideal. They do have a breakfast feature, but other than that there's not much to this place. Still, it's quiet and clean and rooms have a fridge & microwave & coffee machines.
