Date of Stay: December, 2008

It started with walking into the lobby to find barefoot guests wandering while their children ran around...followed by having to go personally to the front desk to ask for clean bed linens because the bed looked as if it had been walked on with dirty shoes and left shoe prints. The room rug was so dirty we didn't even feel comfortable walking around in socks. The hallways smelled moldy. This property was a total wreck.

Checking in was a little time consuming as there was only one clerk but she was very nice and helpful about places to eat in the area. The room was clean and comfortable and the walk out balcony was nice too. The Philly Diner next door served a good breakfast and the night before had a great meal at Lehman's about 3 blocks from the hotel.

We always stay here when we have a flight. We were surprised they would not let us leave our car this trip for free because we booked through Travelocity instead of directly to the hotel. Great place to catch a shuttle to the airport if you don't make this mistake! Breakfast at 5am for early flights.

There was a lot of maintnenance that needed to be done in the room and there were no dining facilities available. There recommendation was a near by Denny's. Because it was off the beaten path the food at the Denny's was very poor.

Convenient location with shuttle service to the airport. Bad smell, stained carpets. Hotel conveniently located that provides free shuttle service to the airport. Free parking, good restaurant close by. Inside the hotel there is a problem with bad smell, the carpets are stained, walls in the first floor hall at the elevator are not attractive, look old. Room are clean, organized, with TV, coffe maker, iron machine, desk, chair and comfortable beds. Walls are thin and you can hear everything between rooms.

We booked online at the last-minute (the day of our stay), and had no problems. Staff were very nice and helpful. Good breakfast, nice eating area. Room with king bed had sofa and nice bathroom. Airport shuttle was extremely helpful! We needed a ride to airport to catch off-site car rental shuttle, but the hotel shuttle driver offered to drive us directly to car rental after dropping off another passenger at airport, saving us a wait at the airport. The really nice diner next door to hotel has good philly cheese steaks and fun photos of Philly area. Very convenient for airport (and also for city if you have a car). This was our first visit to Philadelphia, and we had a great trip. Hotel also has a computer w/printer in lobby, so we were able to check in for our flight and print boarding passes. Very comfortable bed! Quiet even though close to freeway. Would absolutely stay again!

because i got there very early i felt very comfortable sitting and reading in the lobby with some coffee. my room was ready a little early and this was appreciated. i was accomodated when i needed a trip into the city and didn;t know how to do this. the hotel staff gave me excellent directions and provided a shuttle back to the airport to get the commuter train into the city.

Nice short distant to airport not too far from family and friends didn't have to worry about heavy traffic like in the city of Philadelphia. No microwave or refrigerator in the room. It was nice and cozy out of the way but not too far. I would recommend this hotel to friends staff was very friendly and cordial.

When I checked the reviews for this hotel, they were a mixed-bag of Good/OK and disappointing. I hoped for the best as I made my reservations (at much less than the 129.99 listed here on Yahoo). I was pleasantly surprised - this was a fine clean hotel, not luxurious, but certainly well worth the price. The location turned out to be very good too, we were visiting most of the downtown attractions (Historic Philadelphia, the Museum district), and the travel to and from these locations was fairly quick and easy (10-15 minutes). We had also considered a location out by Valley Forge and was glad we didn't stay there as traffic on that route was terrible as we entered town (on a Thursday mid-day) and left (on a Saturday afternoon), I can only imagine how it would have been during rush-hour on a Friday morning or in the late afternoon/evening. The continental breakfast came with the opportunity to make your own waffles on a waffle iron - a nice addition to the standard fare.

The staff were very helpful and friendly even in explaining that the park and fly was not free and offered a nearby solution. We ended up going to the airport to park. Our wakeup call as promised was prompt. Cleaning staff did their best to ensure that the bathroom and bedroom area were neat and clean but the hotel is old and needs serious updates. The carpet while dark was obviously in dire need of replacement because of dirt and use. It served its purpose for an early flight out for a reasonable price.

Stayed in August 2008 because it is close to the airport and they provide a free shuttle. The neighborhood was questionable. The staff were unfriendly. The hotel common areas were run-down and it had an overall dingy feel. The "non-smoking" room was obviously once a smoking room with burn marks all over the bathroom countertops and tub. The smoke from other rooms permeated the air and made for an uncomfortable night. And it cost me $ for one night.

We really enjoyed the Comfort Inn. Nice spacious clean rooms with extras in them, nice continental breakfast that you can make your own waffles, and the staff was super nice and helpful.

Good breakfast included. When water first turned on in shower it was brown for about one minute, then okay. If they had a problem, they should have turned on water in every room.
