Come in pretty late and had no problems checking in. Had a nice breakfast in the morning too.

Friendly staff. Neighborhood, nearby hotels dark and unwelcoming.

I was there for an overnight before an important job interview.

Large clean rooms, clean hallways and friendly service Had to drive through Best Western to get to it.

The manager was very helpful in getting us a wheelchair for my husband who can't walk very far. I thought the trips into D.C. were well worth the hassle of so many people being there at that time of year. The transportation to the Metro was always on time and saved having to rent a car. I would stay at the Comfort Inn again if in the area. We enjoyed the breakfast and had dinner there one night. Dinner could have been a little better.

Staff was friendly. Bathroom was spacious. The continental breakfast was very sparse - only a few bread items available at a time. Too skimpy for the large crowd. The hotel accommodations were fine. The free breakfast was a joke. The only good thing was the Belgian waffles that took 2 and a half minutes each. There was a long line waiting to cook one. It took our family over a half an hour to get food. We would have settled for a bagel or toast but these also were very low and the growing crowd gobbled the food quickly since one poor waitress only brought out about five refills at a time.

I always read and value traveler reviews; priorities for me, in order, are safe area, clean, friendly & helpful staff, airport shuttle, wireless. I found all of these qualities and more at this hotel. Stayed 3 nights and then 1 night the following week. Shuttle, in addition to airport trips, also took patrons to Pentagon City Mall, which had excellent access to metros. Staff was VERY helpful and polite. Restaurant has complimentary continental breakfast. Also had good dinners (they aren't open for lunch). Another surprising but good bonus was an in-room safe. Very pleased with stay there. No complaints at all.

Room, lobby were very clean. Continental breakfast staff a little rude about not having two tickets for two breakfasts, I was only given one at check in. Very pleased, would stay again.

The hotel offers free airport shuttles and also shuttles to Pentagon City Subway terminal! The pool needed to be open longer hours especailly for the holiday weekend. The restraunt was not that great and the service was poor. The breakfast area was extreamly small and never well stocked. The girls working the breakfast area never had their hair pulled back! The first day we did not get any housekeeping service. Overall the stay was fine and I would probably stay there again.

All employees were very professional and pleasant. The use of the shuttle bus was very limited in the areas it served. Our stay was very clean, professional staff that went beyond just their jobs, and we enjoyed our stay. The shuttle bus was very limited and I would have liked to of had a few more options.

Comfort Inn - Pentagon - Good shuttle service to Metro. Restaurant fair not a lot of choices. Neat dining area only 10 blocks away with alot of different choices.

It was just a plain hotel. The staff was not helpful and told my fiancée to shut up when she called to ask for help finding the place. It was a horrible experience because of the staff. They were rude and unfriendly. They do not know the area that they were in and could not give helpful directions. One certain member of the staff told my fiancée to shut up when she called to get some help finding the place. I was disgusted with the way they treated us.

The staff didn't speak much English- including the pool lifeguard. Overall, a very expensive stay without much in the way of service or amenities.

Very close to the locations we were visiting. Restaurant did not open early enough.

I was very dissatisfied with my stay at the Comfort Inn. they were rude, unsanitary, and incompetent. My family and I were treated horribly by the staff at the breakfast and had no reply to our complaint even though it has been 11days since we left. I would have gotten a better service at a hotel that I pay half the price for. I will never stay at this hotel ever again even if this was the only option.

Shuttle staff was excellent. Pool should be closer to hotel. Overall, good stay and very convenient to public transit and Washington, DC - at a very reasonable price!

This was a great value for the money. The staff was extreamly helpful and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. There was also a shuttle to the train station.

The shuttle service offered was really helpful. The AC wasn't working well in the room. Overall this hotel is adequate as a place to sleep and bath, but not much else. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the metro station in Pentagon City where you can hop on a train and be in Washington D.C. within 10-15 minutes, which suited my needs for this particular trip. The beds were comfortable; the room was clean. I would stay here again in the future.

This hotel is a great no-frills place to stay for a reasonable price if visiting Washington DC. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The shuttle was a nice service. The shuttle was mostly consistent in going to/from Pentegon City Metro station. One drawback is that the shuttle is shared with the Best Western next door and can be very crowded. Would recommend this hotel for someone looking to visit DC who doesn't want to pay DC prices and doesn't mind the hassle of using the Metro to get to major sites.
Date of Stay:
July, 2008
Relatively close to downtown DC, continental breakfast was provided at n/c. Room conditions were very poor. As a very frequent business traveler, I was very disappointed with the condition of the hotel as well as the surrounding area. The restaurant/bar was in poor condition and the food left little to be desired.
