Enjoy the best swimming pool on the beach with four cascading waterfalls and a garden grotto hot spa! Located on the Atlantic Ocean, our resortoffers an on-site cafe and meetings up to 75 people. Our oceanfront rooms all have private balconies and all our guest rooms are very large with free hard wired and wireless internet access, irons and ironing boards, hair dryers, coffee makers, microwaves and refrigerators. We have a gift shop, fitness center, full-service catering. Safe fee: 1.50 USD per night plus 7 percent tax. The pool waterfalls and spa jets are currently out of order until further notice.

I visited one of my high school friends at this hotel before he went to Iraq. It was a great choice. The rooms were clean and room service was on point. I have to admit that the style is a bit old. It needs to be updated with more solid bright colors.

The pool, spa, tiki bar and beach saved the hotel experience. The hotel and room itself was mediocre missing buttons in elevator and room door did not shut! If you are planning to stay in the hotel this is not where you want to be, however if you plan to be mostly in the pool, on the beach or at the tiki bar then its worth it! These extras saved and made the trip or I would have went somewhere else.

It's always a little scary booking a hotel based on an internet picture and reading reviews. However, the Comfort Inn Oceanfront is as it looked on the computer and met the expectations of our family of 4(including children ages 12 and 4) for CLEAN and AFFORDABLE accomodations. The hotel staff was extremely FRIENDLY and made our stay a FUN experience. The woman in charge of the morning breakfast will be more than happy to get whatever you need and loves to prepare your waffle for you. It was very evident how much she enjoyed people and her job! (If you are trying to watch you carb intake, you will probably be disappointed.) NICE HEATED POOL AND BEACH!

The hotel is clean and nicely appointed. Breakfast every morning was a great value, including pastries, cereal, and fresh hot waffles. Access to the beach and the very nice pool were the primary reasons we chose this hotel. I didn't request it in advance, but they put us in connecting rooms (another bonus). The last night we were there, a family reunion checked in and we discovered just how paper-thin the walls are. If we had to contend with the noise ever night, my opinion would be different, but overall, we were very satisfied with our stay here and would stay again.

The hotel was okay. The air conditioner in our room was broke and sounded like a dump truck driving through a nitroglycerin plant. The hotel needed a lot of maintenance the building was very old. During our stay the stairs were locked so you had to use the elevator which is questionable at best. Overall I will probably choose another hotel for my next visit.

The hotel was spotless, comfortable and very well appointed, far more than we expected for the reasonable price. The rooms were attractive and comfortable, the breakfast area and lobby were very nice. The pool was huge and sparkiling clean. The food at the outdoor grill was good and reasonably priced. We were just stopping over for a night or two on our way home from the Keys but it turned out to be the nicest part of our vacation. We had a great stay and will definately return.

Anyone who doesn't stay here while in Jax Beach will miss Heather's fabulous smile, sassy comments and helping hand over breakfast, as well as the balance of the staff, who's single concern is their guests happiness. Family stayed and participated in a reception in the hotel, and ALL were happy. Strongly recommend!

Visited Military Family member. Front desk staff very helpful. Were able to check in a little early which accommodated our schedule. Beach chairs, umbrellas, boggie boards reasonably priced!

I'll keep it short . The location is great and on the ocean. Great pool with food and bar area. Friendly staff who filled us in on the best places to eat- (Good portions at better $) Breakfast was enough to get us thru to dinner - No meat, but everything else you could possibly need. All in all like I said, what we hoped for. Only negative - More than we usually spend for hotels on the Gulf side of Florida of the same quality.

Staff was very accommodating to my schedule allowing me to check in earlier and (for a charge) allow me to check out later. Everyone at front desk was very pleasant. Even though I indicated that I did not need any cleaning service in my room, the cleaning staff still asked me, just to make sure. At check-in my room was switched from city-view to pool-view. The gentleman at the front desk cautioned me that the view wasn't the best, however, I thought it was very nice. Palm trees kind of deadened the noise, but still allowed glimpses of the area. The balcony was nicely equipped with 2 chairs and a table. Room was clean and fridge kept drinks cold. Pool was huge and the waterfall added a nice touch. Being right on the beach was nice. Hotel was located in a quieter area of Jacksonville Beach. The other end of the city is definitely geared toward a younger crowd. Lots of places to walk to. Bike rental was convenient and allowed for great exploration of the area. Breakfast was decent. One could cook waffles. I would definitely choose this hotel again.

The Comfort Inn Oceanfront was very nice. We had a queen size bed, with a desk area, and a chair. Our room overlooked the pool and waterfalls, and just around the corner was the Tiki bar and beach. We went to the Gator Bowl, which was only about 1/2 hour away, and there were several shops and restaurants close by.

I would stay at this hotel again. The rooms were clean, the Tiki bar was buzzing, we were right on the beach and it was nice to have a balcony and not have to drive to get down to the bars and restaurants.

My husband and I had our first getaway here, had planned a wedding around there and we take at least 3 to 4 trips there a year. We love it! It's a great place to go in the summer or in the winter. Very romantic in the winter! We love it! We brough my 2 year old daughter there once and she loved it too! Great family spot or just a weekend getaway! Staff is very friendly and helpful! You won't be sorry!

Well it has been a while since I have written. The work done on this facility has been excellent. I have been staying with this hotel for the past 9 years and over a duration of approximately 4 months a year. The place is clean, looks great and is a lot more appealing than when it was when I first stayed. The staff has always been anywhere from kind to outright friendly. The reason I have stayed here for so long is the people. I have had some growing pains with the changes...but now when I stay there...I can honestly say that I feel safe; I am confident kids will be safe, and I can actually sleep soundly at night. Oh yes..can't forget the scenery and the beach and the pool...these items are all very important for the vacationing family...but the welcoming and friendly atmosphere is what makes you guys number one in my book...thanks to O, D, M, and the rest. I know I have been a jerk at times, and for this, I am very sorry. Using a vernacular of youth, 'You Guys Rock' Keep up the excellent work!!!!

comfort inn had bugs in the bed tv in room didnot work they replaced the tv next day tv stoped working replaced this one remot didnot work nice pool not very big

Location on the beach. Bathroom was dirty, spiders on ceiling of room. We could only get a 1st floor room, open to the beach, but with limited views/privacy. The bathroom caulk was black with mildew, and there were small spiders on the ceiling of the room. The bed was comfortable enough, but everything else felt dirty.

This was a great hotel for the price. Directly on the beach, outside deck with Tiki bar, and wonderful pool. The free breakfast was great fresh fruit, bagels, waffles, etc. every morning. The staff was friendly and helpful each time they greeted us. The oasis grill inside the hotel was a great lunch choice since it rained one day we were there. A great choice for a family stay or with friends.

Front desk gave us an upgrade to the ocean view without charge. The lady was very personable. The room was clean and updated - the bathrooms were updated and clean. The refrigerator and microwave was unexpected. The pool was very close from the elevator. Surprisingly, we had continental breakfast without charge. The coffee was excellent and could be brought up the room, as well. The lunch, by the pool, was kind of expensive for a hot dog. The ocean was warmer than the pool. The hot tub was hot 105 degrees - perfect. It was enjoyable.
