The room seemed very old.We were on ground floor with a view of ald paint cans and trash between our window and bushes. The wall paper in our bathroom was peeling away with mould behind it.Need igo on?

Thermostat worked well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Drab. Breakfast below standard of other hotels that offer free breakfast.
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
This was the worst room we have ever stayed in. The mold in the bathroom was horrendus. When front desk was told about it, nothing was done to satify the customer...Nerver again will I stay here.

This is an older hotel with older hotel problems. They do allow pets (a plus), however, the atmosphere it terrible. I've stayed here twice and each time I had to fix a toilet. THe first time the chain was so rusty it broke and my most recent stay I had to jiggle the handle to get it to stop running. The halls are hot and humid, the entire hotel has a musky smell, and the desk has no power for the lamp, a computer, etc. No wireless access in the hotel... bring a CAT5 cable. I don't like this hotel.
Date of Stay:
December, 2007
Every morning I was greeted in the halls by a bevy of workmen with drilling and knocking and all sorts of constructions noises. Fortunately the rooms are noise-proofed. At no time during check in was I advised that construction was taking place.

Clean, friendly staff, convenient to restaurants. There wasn't anything I did not like. It was perfect for our needs.

Redecoration of rooms was very nice. Mattress wasn't very comfortable. Elevator smelled funny. We enjoyed our stay. Spotlessly clean andvery comfortable.

Friendly staff. Pool cold.

Very clean, service staff was friendly. I just wish it had a better breakfast selection. This hotel was very clean, the service staff was so friendly, and the rooms were well equipped. I am so happy to say this but the last time we stay at a hotel it was at the Hyatt, the experience was horrible, never again will I say at a Hyatt. Comfort Inn exceeded the Hyatt a 4 star hotel, will room again at any Comfort Inn, if it is like the one in Oakridge.

Great flat-screen TV. Nice breakfast. Great internet connection. Friendly, helpful staff. They were replacing the tile in the elevator. Minor inconvenience. Nicely remodeled. Clean. Quiet. Friendly.

Good location, and nice people. Pool was shut down due to permit inspection problems. A pleasant place to stay with friendly staff and guests. Convenient to Downtown Oak Ridge, the Museum Of Science and Energy, restaurants and grocery stores.

Very prompt service. Late breakfast moody breakfast staff. This hotel lived up to my expectations except the beds were a little uncomfortable.

I stayed before and knew what to expect. Great place. Just a lot of construction on building. Expected that to. I have enjoyed both my stays here and will stay here again if in the area. Easy to find and close to restaurants and stores.

Good location for business in Oak Ridge. Asked 3 times to fix my bathroom light. Never done. Undergoing renovations. It needs it.

Easy to see form road and places to eat very close. All was ok, just remodeling and construction around. You were in the middle of remodeling and construction was going on. Just a little noisy, but I expected it. I will stay there again when in town.
Date of Stay:
January, 2008
Nice continental breakfast. Room wasn't vacuumed daily. One day with no room cleaning at all. Nice location for our purposes. We liked the access to the fitness club down the road. The final day when we didn't get our room made up or trash emptied they mentioned that I could come down to the front desk if I needed towels. Overall with the price we received we are happy and would stay again at the same price.
Date of Stay:
January, 2008
Continental breakfast was good. The first room we were assigned was very dusty all over. Needs remodeling: carpets were worn out, TV remote was antiquated, the main door leading to the lobby needs refinishing. Does not meet the two star rating.
Date of Stay:
January, 2008
Nothing except the location. Rude staff and smoking and dirty room. This visit it really was bad.

Location. Attitude of staff. My mom died and the staff was rude. Told me the hotel was full and they could not provide me with a non smoking double bed. This was the worst experience I have ever had at any hotel in my life.
Date of Stay:
December, 2007
Great location, great breakfast clean comfortable room. The alarm clock. This was a great room for the price it was one of my better hotel stays.
