The room was large but musty. Bathroom was bare bones and very poor quality towles. Have stayed at much better hotels in this chain.

I anticipated being able to exercise at the hotel, the treadmill was an antique in need of repair or replacement. Good value but somewhat remote. Clean and friendly folks. Minimal variety at breakfast, an unusable exercise room for anyone who takes that seriously and not close to a gym.

I was not pleased with this property for 2 reasons. The first being that the walls were paper thin. We listened to our neighbors well into the wee hours of the night and awoke to them before dawn as well. Management was contacted and did request the occupants keep it down, however, the walls were simply paper thin. The second disappointment was the fact that the pool was not open as it had not been inspected yet. It was an indoor pool, so we were under the impression it was open year round, but apparently, that was not the case. I would stay at another Comfort Inn, but sorry to say, not this particular one.

My family and I stayed here when visitng Monticello and were very please with the service from the staff and the bed comfort. The location was perfect, wawy from trafficy areas. Loved it!

I chose to stay at a hotel for this trip so my son could use pool. He loves to swim. Unfortunately, when we got there, we discovered that the pool was closed "because the health inspector had not ok'd it yet." I could have saved my money and stayed with friends, who had offered us a room, but for that. So, overall, I was disappointed in our stay. Nice and quiet, though, with decent rooms, though. A rather remote feeling location, depite it being right off the interstate.

Breakfast was good, more than I expected. Staff hustled to keep fresh food stocked. No in room microwave, not many power outlets. Good for an overnight stopover, I wouldn't want to stay here long-term.

Nice, clean hotel. 2Q room adequate for family of four. Lobby/breakfast area quite large. Convenient location off of interstate, but set back far enough to be quiet. Large pool (but closed since it was still winter).

My friend and I stayed here just passing though but our car broke down and we ended up staying for a while longer than we thought. The front desk helped us out with places to go and fun stuff to do. They made it bearable while our car was in the shop. Thank you Comfort Inn Monticello!

We went to UVA to visit our son. It was very convenient to get there. We also went to Monticello, which is very close, and we went to the historic downtown which is also very close. I wish they had pay per view movies - they only had one movie channel- HBO. I also wish there was someplace to sit outside, the weather was just turning warm(April 19) and there were no tables or chairs outside. I also widh the windows opened in the room. everyone was very nice, and the rooms were clean.

Friendly staff. The heating/cooling in room system did not work well.

Was centrally located to everything we wanted to see. Room was clean & beds were comfortable. Fridge fit all of our leftovers & drinks. The free breakfast was a little sad, except for the "make yourself belgian waffels" . Coffee & juice was horrible! Lobby was attractive & staff helpful. Gave us a map that we used to find our way around, it was perfect! We had an issue with there being drunks in the room next to us on one of the nights, but staff handled well & resolved issue. Good place for the $ as anything closer to downtown was very expensive. It only took us a few minutes to get to the downtown area anyways. Lots of places to eat & shop all around! BEWARE! There is no elevator to 2nd floor!

We stayed here for the weekend of Virginia's Homecoming. Room was clean. Staff was very good. There is no elevator for second floor room, but staff did offer to help with luggage if we needed it. Security was very good. Breakfast was good, but could use a little more varity. There were several restaurants in a short driving distance. Downtown is only a fifteen or twenty minute drive. Overall a good place to stay for the money.

I definitely enjoyed my stay at the Comfort Inn for my trip to Charlottesville. It's clean, efficient and great value for the price. The staff is super friendly -- they went out of their way to help with several requests. My only complaint was on the fitness center, since the equipment was rather ancient. But other than that, I was perfectly satisfied with my experience.

Location right off I-64. No fan in bathroom. Bed was horribly uncomfortable. Hotel was ok for an overnight if you have no other choice. It would not be my first choice ever! The shower curtain did not come all the way to the tub wall so water was all over the floor. We used the few towels in the room to clean it up. We called the front desk for more towels after telling the clerk what happened. She said she did not have any there but would bring some as soon as she could. We waited 2 hours and called again. The bed was not comfortable at all. The room was hot and stuffy despite having the AC going.

My wife and I stayed here to visit Monticello and we were very pleased with the service of the staff, the cleanliness of the room, and the expansive breakfast. We will stay here again when in Charlottesville. Thanks for the good night's sleep Comfort Inn Monticello. P.S. The pillows are awesome!

Everything was great. The breakfast was great also. I wish I had request a first floor room since my husband had a problem climbing the stairs.

Comfort Inn Monticello was comfortable. Breakfast was good and filling. The room was fine and the bed was comfortable too. Location was good, close to dining and shopping.

Friendly staff that accommodated us ok. Construction right above our room with a shoot to throw scraps that was right in front of our window.

The setting, air conditioner, breakfast and odor could have been better. All in all a mediocre experience. There must be better hotels near downtown and the campus or on the north side.

My family spent a few days in the Charlottesville area and we needed a place with queen size beds and a free breakfast. The room was large and clean. A frig and microwave would have been nice. The man at the front desk was great! He gave us a very useful map, explained how to get where we wanted to go, and recommended restaurants that gave us a discount.
