The Comfort Inn was very accessible off the main highway in Manitowoc. It was quiet and near Perkins and the Country Kitchen restaurants, which were right across the parking lot. There is also a shopping center right across the street. All in all, it was convenient. The only issue was, there wasn't a lot of storage for clothes - only one dresser for the two of us. Other than that, it was fine.

They had a nice breakfast. No pool. Good price for the area. Relatively clean and nice furnishings. It did have a microwave and refrigerator in the room.

My wife and I have stayed at this Comfort Inn on numerous occasions, while visiting relatives. We have always found the rooms to be clean, beds comfortable, and a very helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast is always plentiful. We will continue to stay there!

The Comfort Inn Manitowoc was very nice. It was located right off the freeway in a nice location. The Double queen beds worked out very well. The lady at the check in counter was extremely outgoing and very friendly. She had us laughing at check in which was around midnight, and her great attitude and personality was still there in the morning when we checked out. The hotel was close to restaurants you could walk to. I will be staying there again.

The breakfast was good. The room we had smelled of cigarette smoke. The room I reserved was a non-smoking room but when we arrived, the front desk clerk stated that we had a smoking room. I had made the reservation on Saturday August 11th but she maintained that I had made it "this morning"- (Saturday August 18th). She stated that an ozone machine was in the room, and this would "take care of the smoke aroma", however it did not. We were very dissatisfied with this room. We were so surprised with the way we were treated that we did not ask for another room.

Location and cleanliness. Charging for a safe I did not request or use. The accommodations were excellent as was the location. Charging for the safe was inappropriate and because of this I will not stay at anymore comfort inns!

"The walls are very thin, but fortunately all the guests were quiet. Some light fixtures didn't work. The mattresses were very soft - not good for a bad back. However, the staff was efficient and helpful, and the rooms were clean."

Clean, cheap and basic breakfast included. No frills and fitness room extremely limited. This hotel is affordable, offers clean rooms, and provides a basic breakfast each morning. The fitness room offers a treadmill, rowing machine, and stepper; no weights. Recommended for those looking for a clean, simple hotel with no frills.

"We had the room for 4 nights to attend a wedding, booked largely upon previous positive reviews. Hotel decided to shampoo our room's carpet during our stay. We had to experience wet carpet and odor for 2 days/nights. No concern by front desk other than ""we'll contact housekeeping"". NOT RECOMMENDED BY THIS TRAVELER."

Clean pleasant. Charge my card twice for hotel. Once I paid on price line and check out they charged me again. Still waiting for refund. Not happy this happen. I paid twice for my hotel. I was trying to be economical instead paid for room twice. They are refunding my money but it takes time. This sticks in your head
