when I got to my room and closed the door several roaches came running out. the furniture looked like it had [*]on it. I have stayed at Comfort Inn's before but this was the worst one I had ever stayed in. They did not comp my room or offer anything after I spoke with the night manager.

The people were friendly. The room was in somewhat state of disrepair. People were friendly. The restaurant had not recovered from a wedding reception the night before and weren't quite sure where the place was located in the hotel. No sign or menus were available. A real lack of people working.

I had chosen this location over the other Choice property based mostly on the positive reviews. I was disgusted. The property is in the middle of town a good 5-7 miles from the interstate. The rooms are broke up into pods, and since our room was in the 500/600 building, to get to the front desk or dining you must walk outside and it didn't feel safe, so we drove back and forth, more on that in a moment. When we checked in I had to wait a couple of minutes while the night clerk finished her personal phone call before she could wait on me. We were stuck in the back in a room with a dehumidifier running full blast and ones in the hallways every 50 feet or so. The room was old and shabby. I had requested a ground floor room when I made the reservation 2 months ago, but was given a 2nd floor room, and the buildings concrete stairs were crumbling. Overhearing a hushed conversation between two employees when I checked out, I don't think they normally use the building I was in, but had overflow that night, and I got one of those rooms because we checked in late, even though I reserved months before. The breakfast was standard bagels, cereal and waffles, but they had run out of plates and coffee and no one seemed in any hurry to get more. As I said, I had hoped for more based on the reviews, but of the 4 or 5 properties we have stayed at in Lafayeltte this one was our worst so far. Now back to safety, when we came out to the car in the morning, 2 roosters came underneath the fence fighting followed by 3 teenagers over the fence, we left!

I went with my family to Lafayette to visit the area and some old friends. We were truly pleased with the service we received at Comfort Inn. The staff was nice. The hotel is older but you can tell they take care of it. It has a real comfortable feeling. Next time we are in Lafayette, we will go back to this hotel.

Centrally located to the airport, oil center, and to all of the main roads in Lafayette.

Early breakfast, I'm usually up at 3:00am, breakfast was great. Having to acess the hallway with keys. Located in a good location, room rates were a little high, but all in all a great place to stay.

The hotel is really coming along. I stay for a weekend about every other month and I am amazed at the progress. The lobby and lounge are just beautiful and the restaurant was being worked on, but still open when I stayed last. The staff is very helpful and glad to say that if they aren't sure about something, they go and find out instead of guessing. Everyone is kind and professional. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I am usually away on business most of the year and stay in hotels at least 9 months out of the year. The customer service was completely impressive here. Front desk and housekeeping both greeted my by name and remembered specifics of my trip, while exchanging pleasantries. When in the hotel I typically don't go out to much so it was a huge convenience to have a restaurant, lounge and fitness center here on property! Lastly, THERE INTERNET WORKS! I have been to several hotels where you just can't log on to the wireless server, I didn't have any problems here but if ever in town I will definitely stay here again!!

The hotel was off a main thoroughfare but did not feel like it. There were some cosmetic problems due to probably age and climate. The service was courteous and efficient. The room was typical for that type of hotel.

The wifi was very slow, making it impossible to use the Internet. The noise levels in the morning were intolerable. The room was small, with a large glass sliding door to the sidewalk. My wife did not feel safe there at night. You can find better for the money.

I stayed at the Comfort Inn while conducting some business in the area. The staff is very helpful and it was nice to have a restaurant with room service. The hotel has been updated since the last time I stayed here and it looks great! Of course, having high speed internet is always a plus for me. I will be back.

I really enjoyed this hotel! I was able to make reservations for a romantic package in the same town I was married in. The chocolates and champagne in the room were a lovely touch! The staff greeted us with smiles and the real definition of southern hospitality. We were referred to several cajun/creole restaurants in the area with direction printouts and brouchures. The hotel offered a free continential breakfast as well as an excellent buffet style breakfast. Looking forward to our next stay in the beautiful jacuzzi suite!

It was clean and had a fridge and microwave in the room. Sliding doors opened to the parking lot--not very safe! Also, it had a musty smell. It was ok--it did not exceed expectations by a long run. It was an older motel that was nicely maintained, but the 50's style of the place simply presented an overall gloomy atmosphere.

I change rooms twice at check in. 1st - I ask for a smoke free room.. I was given a room that smells off smoke 2nd - The sheets has bed mice, i iched all night.

The room stank of smoke I needed a non-smoking room since I recently had a neck surgery and I am a non-smoker and the hotel gave me a Smoking room that stank. It was terrible.

Easy accessibility and free wireless internet! Located very close to the airport, the hotel was easy to find and close to local attractions. The staff was cheerful and attentive and the room was comfortable. I'd definitely stay there again.

I stayed them several times for business after Katrina...this was the only hotel with rooms available at that time. Cleanliness is a major issue in that place.
