Location. Staff attitude was not good at all. The staff was very unfriendly and not willing to be of help when we had problems. I was not happy with the staff at all.

It was close to the areas we wanted to visit. They were remodeling and moving furniture the day we checked in. The landmark pool was closed, work being done and the room was supposed to have been renovated, the work was shoddy and I was upset with the way the work was done. Poor paint and work holes in walls. Bed was comfortable.

Convenient. Pool area looked nice - even though we didn't have time to use it Beds were way soft and bathroom needs more towel (only had two). Hotel was going through remodeling so mess was somewhat expected. I'm sure it will look nice when finished. Beds were way too soft, not sure if they were being replaced or not with the remodeling. Our room obviously had not been remodeled yet.

Location. The bathroom was in terrible shape - mold, peeling wallpaper, etc. The bathroom was in terrible shape - mold, peeling wallpaper, etc.

The inside pool. We did not think the beds were comfortable. The hotel seemed to be a first class hotel that has passed its prime. Now it seems to be going downhill. Mattresses were stacked out in the main foyer or entry way.

Continental breakfast was good. The check-in clerk wasn't very customer service friendly. The room wasn't very clean.

The free breakfast was pretty good. In the process of renovating so it looked kind of trashy and dirty. The hotel was ok; we weren't looking for anything extravagant. However, I was I would have known that they were remodeling. The pool area wasn't in the greatest shape nor did it look like the cleaning crew paid much attention to it. One of our room keys didn’t work, and our shower head was partially pulled out of the wall. There are a lot of good restaurants and gas stations around the hotel! The expressway is right next to it as well, so easy access to get back on (or off).

The entrance and front area was very impressive. The room was well attended and clean. Were working on cleaning up and remodelling. Some what noisy at times. It looked like the place had been let go for a while, but they were in the process of cleaning it up. The staff was very helpful.

My room was near the exit. It was a roach motel. Benchmark roach motel is under renovation. Live roaches in the rooms with dead roach bodies near the night stand! The hallway was hot and rooms were being renovated and in plain view from the hall. During the renovation they must have upset the roach population and thus they moved to the unoccupied client rooms for a bit of peace and quiet. I moved the phone and two were sitting there staring at me. A Bobbie hair pin was in between the beds... questionable house keeping. Would not stay at this motel again and would have left that night if I had not been locked into the room. Also stacked in the hallway to the room was a load of old used mattress and box springs. I did not expect the hotel to be under renovation.

The entry way was clean, updated, and stylish. The room was pleasant overall, and the pool area was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping did not visit us on the second day until we asked, then we had returned to our room while they were cleaning. Overall the hotel was very pleasant. The atmosphere was subdued, clean and stylish. The room itself was quite comfortable and included a fridge and a coffee maker. The pool area was nice and comfortable. The only drawbacks were the facts that housekeeping did not empty garbage or refill our towels, and breakfast could definitely use some improvement. Overall, it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

Chemical spell in our room. Okay. Nice location, if going to Purdue University.

Vacancy. Dirty, stunk, and bad locating. Would not suggest to anyone. It was very stinky and the hotel was in really poor shape.

clean, friendly - hot tub & gym. Convenient location, clean, friendly staff.

Lobby was attractive. Bed was uncomfortable, towels were thin and thread - bare. Not a good deal. Beds were very uncomfortable. Sheets were thin and poor quality. Towels were thin and one had a hole. Maid service was poor. Breakfast was meager and stale. Comparable price and much more comfortable at Holiday Inn!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was in the process of being remodeled and the room I was in was a little run down but clean. Staff was very friendly.

Free breakfast, easy parking, easy to find, clean bathroom. Carpet is old, ugly and stained. Right off the freeway. First impression is spacious lobby with clean cut simple interior. Bathroom is big and clean. The only drawback is the room carpet looks dirty and old. Old comforter too makes me hesitate to sleep tight. Free breakfast of toast, cereal, boiled eggs and cookies. Don't expect to find bacon or ham.

Location. Could have been better housekeeping. Not terrible, though. Nice lobby setting. Small breakfast area, but at least a comp breakfast. Decent for the price, I guess.

Currently upgrading to a Comfort Inn from the old Lee's in, being totally reworked and aesthetically nice. Construction crews carved up a chicken and cooked it for lunch, left its entrails on the sidewalk leading to entrance. I have stayed in this location in the past and was relatively disgusted with it's previous appearance and lack of maintenance. But now, even while under the same management, they have revamped much of the hotel, have new gym equipment, new carpets, new beds, new furnishings. It was like a totally different place than it was 60 days ago. Quite impressed, so much so that I'll be staying there again next week!
