When we first arrived, we questioned the safety of the surrounding area, but we had no problems while we were there. Entry into hotel is inconvenient due to limited area in front of hotel. Parking lot was very, very small and not made for a larger vehicle. No easy access to hotel from rear of building where parking lot is. Lobby and dining area small and unappealing, but clean and friendly staff. Room, however, was surprisingly clean and was newly renovated ("surprisingly" because entry into hotel was not very appealing). Room was very quiet despite being near an elevator. 4 story hotel with one elevator and no staircase for non-emergency use was inconvenient. Comfortable/clean place to sleep but had some inconveniences as mentioned. OK if you need a place for one night but probably wouldn't stay there again.

The young man at the receptionist had a wonder personality to be in his position. He certainly started out stay out right. My stay was too short.

The offer for an early check in and late check out was great, and made the trip comfortable. I was not impressed that we had to pay a cab 20 dollars to take us to the station on the 4th - when this is advertised as free. Also, it is not good enough to say that a shuttle will be there in a few minutes (from JFK) when this takes an hour. Surely, one should know the times. The lady assisting at breakfast is most unpleasant and rude, and this put a damper on our mood. But, overall, the experience was good and I would use the hotel again.

Comfort Inn JFK Airport has a very good location for people which use JFK Airport for business reason. Comfort Inn is located 5-7 min only from main terminals of JFK Airport.

Very clean andI like the shuttle service to and from airport. Excellent service, very clean room, bed was comfortable and most importantly easy access to JFK with hotel providing shuttle service.

Clean and friendly staff. Parking is tough and no work out area. The hotel was okay clean and staff was friendly the only draw back is the commute to and from the city the traffic is brutal and there is nothing to do in this area.

Quick access to airport. Dirt in shower water and staff unable to assist with problem. The hotel was difficult to get to on a one way street, the driver didn't even know where it was. There was literally black sandy dirt coming out of our shower water that wouldn't cease after 20 minutes of running, and the staff was unable to assist in anyway.

Convenient to JFK. Sound insulation between rooms could have been better. A comfortable and reasonably priced hotel for sleeping in after our flight was canceled at JFK. Breakfast was decent. Quick back and forth to JFK, not much else going for it.

Iwaited 30 minutes for the shuttle to pick me up at airport.I had to call hotel 3 times till van arrived.I walked in my room only to find the heat off and the room frigid (it was snowing outside).I cranked the heat and took about 3 hours to be somewhat comfortable. (I caught a terrible cold from sleeping in a cold bed). The next morning, they told me shuttle runs on every hour.I was outside 10 minutes prior, 9:20 amI was still waiting for the van.I noticed a taxi driving by,I stopped him, he drove me to airport, costed me $15.00. Did not like this hotel at all. It was a quick overnight for me, but, in December,I would expect the heat to be running in the room.I will never stay at this hotel, nor wouldI recommend this hotel to anyone.

Clean, economical. Location - not near public transportation. Shuttle runs only hourly. Needed taxi. Excellent value for a NY hotel. Clean room, including linen and bathroom. Good breakfast included in the room rate. Helpful person at the front desk. Location was good for JFK Airport traveler, but required at least an hour's travel, including a $20 cab fare to the subway station, for anyone going into Manhattan.

Convienent to JFK Airport. Not close to anything as far as walking, Limited delivery menu. The room was quaint, but plenty of space to work and sleep. The amenities were comfortable and the room was clean. Negatives: This hotel is only close to JFK and another hotel, thats it. If you are here for one night during travel, the room was perfect. If you were there like I did, and need to go out for anything, there is a mall semi-nearby, which required a $25 cab ride each way. This is also where the restaurants were. This is an affordable, clean, and comfortable room for anyone, just think about whether or not you need to go out for anything.

Close to the airport. No amenities or charm, though not expected to have any. It was what it needed to be, basic no frill accommodation but clean, close to the airport. Wouldn't stay for any purpose other than being close to the airport for an early morning flight. Staff was friendly and helpful. Staff did provide inaccurate info (not intentionally) about when the shuttle was coming to pick us up from the car rental place so we waited much longer than we needed to late at night. Not the fault of the hotel, though, since this was a shuttle that covered more than one hotel.

There was a free shuttle to the airport. Not the greatest neighborhood. Great for a quick layover but that's about it.
