I did not expect a luxury spa setting and Im not dissapointed in the appearance. The hotel itself is small in design. The small kidney shaped pool is suitable for two or three adults. I can say it couldnt have been more that 10x12 if that. As far as the staff, there are not any real issues. NOT the friendliest group, but not rude. The continetal breakfast was well attended and satisfying. Our room was the issue. We returned to our room for the second night of our stay only to find one of the two beds had been stripped but not remade with no linens left in the room so that I could do it myself. NO trash had been removed and no cleaning performed. It was late and I was exhausted that particular evening. I was surprised to find a cleaning lady on duty that late, but I was happy to never the less. She supplied me with the bed linens and I made it myself. It wasnt untill the next morning I noticed our bath towells were taken and not replaced. It was frustrating considering the price for the stay.

The room was great except for :when we left the room early in the day, we turned off the air. When we returned to our room that evening, there was a dampness to everything in to room.

Clean, convenient, good breakfast. Advertised work-out facilities. They were not on-site and staff sent us to two different hotels to find them, only to find them at a third location. Very nice, friendly. Only complaint was confusion on location of work out facilities, which were at a different hotel.

Reservations were cancelled the day prior to scheduled arrival but the hotel charged the entire stay. My son is a student at VMI in Lexington and we have stayed at the Comfort Inn many times during visits. Have always been pleased with the accomodations but am upset about the charges. We will not be staying there again. We have stayed at the Wyngate and will continue to do so in the future.

Quiet hotel yet very accessible to the highway. Friendly staff, clean and affordable. Pool is a little small if more that a few persons want to relax for a swim. This is a nice hotel which is family friendly at an affordable price. It is a clean and well kept facility with minor upgrades(new floor tile going in when we were there).

We have stayed at many Comfort Inn's and this one met our expectations. It is an older hotel, but the room was quiet & clean. The breakfast area is small, so if you need a table, you may have to wait! I would stay here again.

Convenient to I 81 It wasn't as close to the Virginia Horse Center as I thought .. Friendly staff. Very complete continental breakfast. Beautiful country.
