It was close to the area we wanted to be in and easy to find. Dirty bath, dirty room, I was shocked by a light fixture, manager rude. This hotel was easy to find and close to everything in Colonial Williamsburg. The hotel did not appear to be well maintained. My first room was old, dirty, door didn't shut, light bulbs missing, bathtub dirty with someones body hair. The mgr. said that he did not like to switch rooms because it was inconvenient. My room was eventually switched, and the next room was satisfactory, but switching rooms and having problems, being down talked to by the general manager was not what you wanted to experience when you were on your first romantic vacation in years, away from work and kids. Be sure to do a full check of your room immediately, (because that was what you went on vacation for, right?) and complain about everything. I would not be staying again in any Comfort Inn.

The\is hotel was poorly planned. We had to go OUTSIDE to get to the indoor pool, fitness center and the room where they served the continental breakfast. It wouldn't matter as much in the summer, but walking the length of the hotel when it's chilly is not appealing.

My husband and I chose the Comfort Inn based upon the experience that we have had at other Comfort Inn locations. Unfortunately, this Inn did not even compare. The room and bathroom were very small. The beds were uncomfortable. The room and furniture very outdated. There weren?t even enough outlets in the room to plug the alarm clock on the bed stand between the 2 beds. It was located on top of the TV stand. There was no desk or sitting area (something I loved about the Bangor location), just a round table with 2 chairs. We stayed at the Comfort Inn near the Bangor Mall in Bangor, Maine within the past year and were so impressed with the experience that we decided to give this one a try. What a huge disappointment. The free breakfast was set up in a small and inconvenient location. People had to wait in a long line that went thought the door and outside. The only access is from outside (I?m not sure what would have happened if it had been raining). The room was way too small and understaffed for the amount of people it was serving. The up side, it was conveniently located near historic points of interest. The housekeeping staff was pleasant and did a nice job cleaning the room daily. It also had 2 pools, one inside, one out. The down side, the pools were not very clean and my children often found nasty things floating in them. Luckily, we had family in the area and only slept at the Inn. I would never stay at this location again. I was very unimpressed and wonder if Comfort Inn Corporate has consistent quality standards that all Inns must live up to. This one definitely misses the mark.

we got to his hotel i thought it would be a dump. I liked it very much. The elevator was small and you have to carry your bags to your room(we were on the second floor). we had to walk outside for the indoor pool. and breakfast was very good

The staff was very friendly and helpful. No in room refrigerators. Great location. Very friendly staff. Great price for the room.

Good hotel, room was very nice, clean, everything worked. Both pools were clean. The only drawback was this is the last hotel on the strip so making a left out of the parking lot, to go shopping or to restaurants was a pain. There is construction going on next lot so this should change. Close to all attractions, free breakfast was also good. would stay here again.

The room was clean and well appointed, considering that it was a 2 star hotel. The bed was extremely big and comfy. The coffee bar in the rooms does not have enough cream and sugar. Only one of the jacuzzi jets worked. This was a great hotel, probably deserving of an upgrade. The staff was helpful, and answered every question that I had expertly. The room was large and service was great.

First, we were given a room that is already occupied. For the 2nd time,we were given a room that is not inside the hotel.I think it's an annex. We have to climb the stairs to 3rd floor and it was cold that time.the dining area for breakfast is crowded and you need to walk outside the hotel. Long line to get your breakfast. No maintenance at night. We were told to get the plunger and do it ourselves when we called for assistance for the clogged tub.The guy at the front desk wasn't accomodating too.

Room was access from outside hotel was able to park at room. Pool water was very cold even though the testing said it was not. Hotel was what you would expect. Nothing fancy nothing bad. Pool water record read that pool water was 80 degrees this was not so. The pool was freezing cold. Other than not being able to connect toWiFi and the desk being unhelpful this was a good stay.

The Comfort Inn is a Hotel/Motel. We booked a hotel for our trip but ended up in the motel portion of the building. You had to go outside and walk around to the corner of the building to get to the inside pool and either walk through the wet pool area or again walk around outside to get to the breakfast area. There is an exercise room off of the pool room with water puddled around the electric equipment. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean, but the complimentary coffee was always cold.

Really enjoyed the plants in the breakfast room, especially the lemon tree with lemons. The dresser was missing two handles and was quite worn.

Great front desk service. Ants in bathroom. I liked the service at the front desk. Very helpful even when I arrived at three A.M. The first night I found ants in the bathroom, the second night I was woke up by a dozen police cars in the parking lot. This went on for a couple hours. The area seemed safe so I assume it was an isolated occurrence. The hotel seemed slightly dated but was clean. (Except for ants) Beds were decent, and I was in a smoking room which didn't smell that bad. (I am a smoker and some just are nasty!) All things said, I was slightly annoyed by police. I would consider staying here again.

"I specifically reserved this hotel because of the location, and it had an indoor pool. Upon arrival I was given the key and told the room was around back. I drove around back to find that I was put in a handicap assessible room that was in the basement of the hotel. The pool was on the other side of the hotel with no indoor access from the room. It was 30 degrees outside. In my opinion this room was not worth the money I paid for for a special get-away weekend with my wife."

Spa and sauna were very nice. A heated pool would have been nice. It was a very nice hotel. Close to everything and very comfortable.

"I have staying here with my family for about 2 yrs now, and they seem to improve something everytime I go back , They have all new bedding with fitted sheets & cozy new blankets. What a difference Also the indoor pool & hot tub are the best to relax @ night before bed. A+++ hotel for price & great staff especially nicole in the mornings for going out of her way for our kids. Location. Friendly staff. Indoor pool has no indoor access. I have liked this hotel in the past. It is economical and the staff is helpful. However, this makes the second time I have been there and the hot tub was cold. The indoor pool is not heated and when you have to bundle up to get to it and run back to your room, it makes using the indoor pool non-pleasurable. They do not have internet access and the coffee pots make these pathetic little one-cup deals from a pod. The curtains had water damage and there were small hairs on the bathroom floor. I think I need to graduate to a better hotel when in Williamsburg. Fortunately, they are building one next door. The owner of this property needs to make an investment. It has been run on a shoestring budget long enough.
