The hotel is no-frills, unless you enjoy the carb-o-licious breakfasts that are now popular. I knew this before I made the reservation, so that didn't concern me. The problem I had was with the front desk clerk. I checked in, then went to the car to get my luggage and my dogs (this hotel accepts pets). I passed the front desk 3 times with my dogs (bringing in luggage, going out for the day, and coming back in). As a last "outside" for the dogs, I passed the front desk again at about 10:30 p.m. At that time I was asked by the clerk who gave me the keys to my room if I was staying in that building (there are two buildings on the property). When I said I was she told me I would have to move to the other building because they only allow pets in the other building. At 10:30 p.m. and my partner in PJs and sleeping, I wasn't about to move. I was told I would get a call from the General Manager...but never did. I slept in my clothes because I was afraid someone would come and force us out at any moment. Obviously, I didn't sleep well. I'm glad I had only planned on staying there for 1 night. I will never stay there again. The Econolodge down the street is much more friendly and the property is newer and cleaner from what I remember.

Good service. Clean rooms andfree good breakfast.

My room (building 3) was in disrepair (bathroom sink was detaching from wall; leaky tub facet, carpets were dirty/worn ? I would not walk without shoes on, etc.). Wireless internet worked well, breakfast was good, hit or miss with pleasantness of front desk staff (arrival - very nice, departure ? needs improvement). Hopefully this building is soon to be renovated.

We were just staying overnight, but it was in the best standards of Comfort Inn's, that we have previously encountered.

Comfortable internet access. No fruit at breakfast. This hotel was very conveniently located for college visits. It was clean and quiet. Continental breakfast selections should have included fruit.

If the ""annex"" is the building that doesn't house the office, then it's vastly improved. The hallway smelled clean and fresh and my room was very clean, even passing the white sock test. The ""continental"" breakfast was extensive and the eating room was very clean. The wireless didn?t seem to work well and the password the desk gave me didn't work in the morning, despite their assurances that it was correct. There?s a high-speed terminal in the lobby if you don't need to do a lot of work online.

The beds were extremely comfortable. The room was rather small with two double beds and no desk. Would have liked some fresh fruit at breakfast, but otherwise, the free breakfast was well-stocked and there was a staff person there to help us with any problems and keeping things clean.

first time we stayed here was fine, but 2nd time we got put in the ""annex,"" a separate bldg. that had smelly hallways and was dark and noisy. we were not warned of this in advance. if you insist on staying in the main bldg. when you book your room, it is okay, but i would not go back.

It is close to where I had to conduct business. I did not like the fact that housekeeping did not vacuum the carpet after the first day of stay. I think the hotel is ok, customer service is good, breakfast is very good, cleaning needs improvement.

Nice, clean, friendly, easy. Can't think of anything. Nice room, good location, good price and friendly staff.

Very clean, upgraded beds and linen, breakfast included, charming staff. The gym could be bigger ( just Stairmaster, treadmill and station bike.) Much nicer that I had anticipated for a Quality Inn. Very comfortable room, nicer beds and linens, new bathroom with marble vanity. I will certainly stay there again when my plans call for travel through western MA.

Front desk outgoing a big help. No maid service on first day. Other than the maid service it was ok. I think the maids went home at 11 am.

Excellent staff. Nothing. Great bargain in a wonderful location.

Courteous, welcoming staff. Convenient to major transportation routes, stores, and Amherst. Free breakfast was hectic and crowded and did not provide much selection in food. Great value, would stay here again. Free breakfast could have had more selection food wise, and was crowded with hotel guests. Room was clear, only 1 hair in shower. Plenty of towels and pillows already provided in the room. Good temperature control in the room.

The indoor pool. The bathroom was kind of small. Good cheap hotel, close to smith.

Even though construction was under way in the complex, we enjoyed the stay. Exit and entrance to main highway was sometimes hard to accomplish easy. We arrived on Wednesday and stayed through Sunday morning on Easter weekend. The addition-construction going on through Friday was, overall, un-noticeable to the point of being a problem except for parking and work vehicles being all over the place. I believe that when the project gets done thing will improve ten fold. Access back to the main highway will always be a problem except if the town of Hadley were to put in a traffic light. Red.

Decent for the price. Continental breakfast not adequate. The milk was not labeled 1%, 2 1/2%, etc. There was no bread for toast, only English muffins and bagels. We understand they're renovating soon, making the breakfast area larger and in the larger portion of the motel which, if it happens, means there will be more space. There were not enough seats for having breakfast. The place was filled which meant we had to go elsewhere for breakfast one morning. The person in charge of the breakfast was not on top of her job. She waited for customers to say something about "no more English muffins" but she should have been monitoring that scene more closely in stead of chatting with the person at the desk. There was no bread for toast, only English muffins and bagels. I'd keep on eye on this place to see if they really intend to improve things. It was ok and the people at the desk were actually cordial and helpful.

Located on a main route in a pleasant rural area. Toilet seat too small ! Awkward & uncomfortable. Basically ok. I might have been able to find same quality for less money. Beds a little hard. There was only one (cloth) shower curtain, therefore you either put it inside the tub and it got wet, or you leave it out and the floor gets wet. It should either be vinyl or have a separate vinyl liner.
