Interior a bit tired. Some very baisc maintenance would help. Outside area round outside spa, including walls and paving needs good scrub. A make-over would do wonders for this place.

One of the best we stayed in during our visit to NZ. Had a seperate upstairs bedroom wit TV as well as downstairs puty up couch bed. Kitchen facilities were excellent and a really nice large spa bath which was great. No hesitation in recommending this to anyone.

we had only breakfast at the restaurant every day and it was very good with great choices. Service was good too.Gwendoline motel reception service was excellent. very helpful. motel was clean, private spa was a luxury. they cleaned the room every day. wellworth for the money for someone looking for a good accomodation in the average cost range.Thank you to Gwendoline staff

Very good value. A door on the upstairs room might help provide privacy / peace and quiet/ time out for mum and dad in the evening, but overall we had a great stay and will be back.

When the weather is HOT. You have to ask for a fan at the counter. Otherwise, without the A/C you would have sleepless nights rolling & rolling. For that price... I cant complain much.

Great little Motel! We find Gwendoline Court ideal for us and our young kids. With the access to the facilities across the road at the Heritage, this makes for a great place to stay.

upstairs was quite nice but needed a bit more modernising downstairs.units at the back were reletively quiet.was a little out of town so a car was necessary to get into Rotorua.the continental breakfast was quite good which was at another hotel only 100mtrs up the road.overall it was a pleasant stay

The Gwendoline is reliably good, great ratestogo value and an excellent choice for a family. The private self fill hot pool is excellent & 2 tv's guarantee an enjoyable stay.

We had a great stay at the Gwendoline Court Motor Inn recently which represented fairly good value for our party of 8 which took two units. Each was well stocked, clean, fresh linen (even for the cot), and very warm. The added bonus of course was the spa outside which was very comforting after a day exploring. Great for families.
