	Date of Stay: July, 2009
The employees hung around the front door smoking. I ended up with a smoking room that smelled awful. The continental breakfast was all breads. A positive aspect is that it was back from the road and the noise was minimal.

Front desk staff all courteous. The rooms were mold factories. For the price, they could change the filters in the A/C or at least have the opportunity to open the window. My son has mold alergies and the rooms wreaked of a mildew.

We were very happy with the price and what we recieved.. The room was clean, the breakfast plentiful and the indoor pool and jacuzzi were great. In traveling wefound the staff to be informative on the attractions in Gettysburg. The lady at night was even studying to be a battlefield guide and she was the greatest. Will definately stay again.

The hotel was very close to Rt.15 and the local attractions were nearby. Walmart is just down the street to pickup anything you forgot to pack and the outlet mall is just a few miles down the road. The hotel was fine for a stopover with friendly staff.

Location to highway. Interior bland, checked in at 8 at night but was kicked out at 11 am. I thought I paid for 24 hours of use of the room? It is a hotel worthy of a quick stay. It is clean and the staff were cordial. It was easy to find and no problem to locate from the Highway. I paid for 24 hour use and only got 15 before check out. The business center they brag about in the brochure isone computer in the lobby next to the front door that was always occupied by some teenager trying to check his my space/face book.

First room we were checked into was not yet cleaned by service. Second room had some kind of odor that could not be determined (went to Wal-mart and got febreeze and a room deodorizor). As all the hotels in area were booked, we had no choice to stay. Room was very dirty, and shower had a lot of mold growing on the curtain. Hot tub was so dirty that you couldn't see any part of the bottom. Breakfast also was not the best area for cleanliness.

After driving 12 hours and finally arriving at the hotel there was no one working the desk. Sign said someone would be right back. 30 minutes later someone appeared. The room and hallway leading to the room stank badly. But we could have overlooked that if the room was at least clean. The bathroom was not cleaned at all and one of the beds was slept in. Basically no maid service was applied to that room. There were two towels for 4 of us. When I tried to get the front desk no one anwsered. I went down to the desk and again there was a sign indicating that someone would return shortly. Finally when someone arrived I asked that they send a maid to clean the room and provide more towels. I expressed my dissatisfaction and they assured me that it would be taken care of. I then went out to dinner with my daughter and her friends. Upon returning the towels were located in the hallway outside of our room (the floor in the hallway was disgusting). No one ever entered into the room and cleaned it. I was highly dissapointed. I went back down to the desk where once again no one was there. We were simply exhausted and needed to sleep. We went back and made the best of it but there were so many bugs in the room that we could not sleep. The window had no screen and apparently had been left open. I checked out the next day as there was no way I would be staying there again.

The bathroom was clean. Staff standing around the front of building, smoking. Hallways smelled like cigarette smoke, room needed painted, furniture old and some pieces broken. I would not recommend this hotel. When we arrived, the staff was standing around the front of the building smoking. It was pouring down rain and a staff member opened the front door for us while we were carrying luggage but not the next set of doors, so we had to put everything down to open those doors. The hallways smelled like cigarette smoke even though the hotel was supposed to be no smoking. The room looked like it needed painted and some of the furniture appeared worn and broken down. I was very disappointed since this is a chain hotel with supposedly a good reputation which is why I picked it.

We reserved rooms at three Comfirt Inns in tgreee cities. This was the last and was not what we expected. We checked in. The non-smoking hallway reeked of smoke, as did the room. The room also smelled of something like a combination of urine, mold and smoke. We left immediately for another hotel. The staff did not give us a hard time about leaving, and refunded our money. The pool was out of commission. The front area was not very clean.

I would definetly recommend this hotel. The rooms were very clean & the beds very comfortable. It even had a lock box to lock up your valuables..We were very pleased with our stay.

Easy parking, close to Gettysburg college. The room smelled bad, and airing out did not help. There were no other rooms avail. The clerk was not very professional. Not up to usual Comfort Inn standards.

We were ona a college scouting trip for my HS aged son. This was our 3rd night in three different PA cities/towns. The others being Allentown and Pittsburgh. Would rate this the third best of our three stays but it cost more than teh other two combined. I'm sure this was due to the timing of the visit as there was a reenactment going on that weekend. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was small withe he sink out in the room (not in the bathtroom witheth shower/tub and toilet). We did not use the pool or each breakfast there but they both appeared to be ok. With the choice of continental breakfast or Perkins right next door we chose Perkins. The remote for the TV was not easy to use. It was not set up like normal remotes. so confusing my wife gave up on it. It was also hard to get to our room with all of the maid's carts in the hallway (three of them). We had to go past the laundry room where they had parked them all. We woudl stay there again but would also look for better options too.

The room, service and light breakfast were very good. I liked having the iron and hair dryer in our room. The only thing we were disappointed in was in order to get to our room we used the closest door from the parking lot and when you came through the door there were piles of white towels and sheets that were bagged and laid all over this walk through area and the vending machines. They also had the door open to the laundry room and it made it look messy and unprofessional, plus they left that same door open to the parking lot, so anyone could walk in, which made security non existant.

The continental breakfast was great and my kids really enjoyed the pool. The bathroom smelled strongly of smoke and the garbage had not even been emptied from the previous occupants.

The Confort Inn Gettysburg was a nice basic motel to take your family for one or two days. Free breakfast was an nice added value.

It is convenient and local to our needs and it has a swimming pool. The customer service was excellent, I liked that I could take my pet. My son is in a residential home near there and when we get a day pass for him the hotel is nice so he can visit the dog and be able to swim while we are visiting.
