Good location, an easy walk through the wonderful Gaslamp district to the Convention Center and ballpark. There is no bar or restaurant in the hotel, but abundant choices for food and entertainment within a five minute walk. Self-serve breakfast was adequate and included some hot foods. My room was clean and well-maintained.

Great price, great location and great people. Room was not large but very nice considering price.

Hotel was mostly partying kids running and screaming through the halls all hours of the night for the entire week. Hotel staff showed no interest in resolving after multiple calls. Good hotel if you're under 21.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, quiet and easy to walk around downtown. I highly recommend.

Very friendly and clean. The one-bed room was extremely small. It was very loud at times, but then it was Saturday night, Memorial Day Weekend and there was a baseball game going on a few blocks away. I was a little worried about my car being parked in the small outdoor parking lot in the back, which was an extra $16 to park there for the night, but it was either that or park on the busy downtown streets. I would not recommend if you are a lite sleeper and looking forward to a quiet nights sleep. Great free breakfast, you get to make your own waffles.

Went to Gaslamp, San Diego for a bachelor party. Had a blast, excellent location. In the middle of everything, and an amazing breakfast, well after a good night, ya know. Will come back soon. Hats off to an entertaining town!

It is in the Gaslamp. Two hostels also are very nearby if you're looking for even cheaper. The toilet didn't flush well. The gym was actually 5 block away, inside a locked business, and only had old cardio machines (weights looked fine) limited to 20 minutes per machine. The staff were friendly, breakfast had fresh waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, juice, hot chocolate, coffee, room had lotion, shampoo, conditioner mouthwash bottled water, and popcorn (all free), room also had a fridge, microwave, and air conditioner in the window. My room looked right into someone else's room, so you might request one that doesn't face inside.

The queen size room was quite crowded... not much walking space around the bed.

This hotel is located in one of the finest neighborhoods of San Diego. Right in the heart of downtown San Diego...Gaslamp is one of the coolest places there. Lots of amazing dining options. For the price I paid, I thought it was a steal. I would definitely stay at the Comfort Inn the next time I travel there.

Fantastic location, nice breakfast included, great price, friendly staff. Small rooms. Great accommodations for price and location. Nothing fancy about room - but hairdryer, amenities in room. Great breakfast included in price.Loved the location - within walking distance to great restaurants (in Gaslamp Area) and the convention center. Staff very friendly and called me to make sure everything was to my liking. Potentially noise could be an issue with some rooms near the street.

Excellent location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Close to transportation to many attractions around San Diego.

Close by surrounding stores, dining, & entertainment. The TV needs to be upgraded. Certain channels would go silent. Picture quality is poor. The management staff and subordinates were great. Need to upgrade room amenities to something more modern.

The only problem I had with the hotel was that they were doing random alarm testing throughout the day on Saturday. Very frustrating!! Other than that, it was a comfortable place!
