Everything was okay until the middle of the night when I was awaken by the train that runs right up against the building, several times that night. If you don't intend to get any sleep this is a nice hotel for the money.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Closed pool when it was raining. Great stay. Had my three young grandchildren. Could have had children friendly food at continental breakfast. Staff couldn't keep up with eaters but a lot were there at the same time because we were going to the same activity, Army Basic Training Family Day & Graduation. Handled things well. Understand why the closed the pool because thunderstorms pop-up, but the call to close the pool was premature in my opinion. Was ready and needed the refreshing swimming after a busy day but had to settle for baths instead. No comparisons!

was not at all impressed by this hotel. the only positive was the staff. The hotel itself is in dire need of a renovation. It was fairly clean, but had that ""old"" smell to it. While they did quickly replace the mat in the shower (without us asking for it), the floor was sticky. there was no chair for the desk ... and i'm not sure but I think there must have been fleas or something ... WILL definately opt to pay more someplace else next time. What we saved here was not worth it.

Location was great for visit to Fort Jackson, asked for extra towel and I promise you could see through the towel. There was a sport group staying at the motel and they were quiet but the continental breakfast was almost none existent. It was a place to sleep that was close to Fort Jackson.

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful in meeting our needs as guests. Carpet and decor in hallways were dated. Hotel was clean, efficient and friendly. Perfect for a traveling on vacation.

if you like trains at 3 in the morning, fleas in the bed,dirty carpet and stained bed spreads this is the place for you

Its next to a railroad and the rooms where terrible smell of mold, unclean bathroom with hair in the tub and around the sink and carpet was aweful. The bed linen smelled uncleaned. I will never stay in this hotel ever again. The worst experience I ever had at a hotel and it is not a 3 star by a mile.

I arrived after 9pm-too tired to leave, roaches were crawling over the bed and phone! in room 107- Front desk guy apologized put me in another room #207-it smelled like smoke and the carpet was dirty, but no roaches.After checking the bed for bug, I was relieved and went to sleep. I actually enjoyed my stay, but will take RAID and Lysol on the next visit! This is a very nice hotel, very convenient to Hwy 20 and other businesses. They just need to clean up and call Orkin!

Nicely priced. Alittle tricky to get to. Well worth the money. Lots of things to do around the area. A train track went right by the hotel, a little noisy.

Stayed for 3 nights; was in for sons Graduation from Army; easy to get to base on 77 North; convenient to shopping and eating; no problems. Train at back of hotel came thru (very close to hotel) but I went back to sleep just fine. Staff was nice. I would stay here again!

Good heat, AC andbreakfast. Quiet. Elevator is beat-up and slow. This hotel was originally built with quality materials and features. Cultured marble sink and shower. Good furniture. Four channels of HBO. But it has not been maintained well; Caulk needs redoing; Marble has lost its luster; inefficient windows; Cheap faucet. Elevator is scratched and responds slowly for only 3 floors. Towels are clean, but thin. Lots of pot-holes in adjoining parking lot.

Wireless connection. Did not clean room. The staff did not clean my room for the entire three days. I asked for towels and received two pool towels. When I mentioned the issue at the desk, the room still was not cleaned nor did we receive fresh towels (again given pool towels).

Not a thing. It was very smelly and dirty. I tried to get a wake up call and the front desk never answered the phone. This hotel is bottom line. We were there with 2 children and I was worried about there safety and overall health after sleeping in the beds and the smells in all areas of the hotel were very disgusting. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff was friendly and helpful. My TV was not clear. Everything was fine with my stay. I had a clean room and clean bed. I wasn't looking for much more than that. The breakfast was what I expected, good. Free coffee all day was nice. Again, the staff was friendly and helpful.

Cheap price. The wall had black mold under the AC. I wouldn't stay at it again even for the cheap price. The room just wasn't up to par, the carpet was dirty, mold on the wall, and it seemed to be infested with spiders.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My car was broken into in their parking lot. The room was clean, and the staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. Knowledgeable about area and willing to give directions. But my car was broken into in their back parking lot where I was directed to park by the manager. Another vehicle as well. They didn't even apologize for this. I felt unsafe the last night I was there and wasn't sure how I would find my car in the morning. To be fair, I should say that at this time I found out there are cameras in the front parking lot but not in the back.
