I specified a non-smoking room with Orbitz when I booked the hotel and when I checked in, the room was obviously a smoking room. When I asked for the hotel management to change it, they were willing, but they charged me an additional $20 out of pocket (keeping in mind that I already pre-paid Orbitz) to have a non-smoking room. The front desk employee sort of shrugged and said "Orbitz and other sites promise this sort of thing all of the time and we don't promise them anything." I was quite ticked off and will definitely think thrice before booking another hotel reservation on orbitz.com

Upon entering room, floors were stained, sheets were dirty, what looked like a spot of dried blood on the vanity wall, tissue stuffed in the peep-hole of the door. I felt that the last tennant that stayed there was up to no good. After recieving a little attitude from the desk-clerk, we arrived to a different room that was much cleaner. Pillows were rather small for my liking. Breakfast was satisfactory.

I will never stay at Comfort ever again. Terrible breakfast bar. Dirty room filled with ants and a roach. Paid little more and moved to nearby Best western next morning.

The Comfort Inn was good for the price. It is located in a somewhat secluded area but is just seconds away from the highway and minutes away from the one of the main roads (10th Street). The pool area wasn't very inviting and parking seemed scarce. I would only recommend this hotel for short stays (1-3nights max).

People are very friendly, rooms are very clean and beds extremely comfortable. Great place to stay of business. Quiet, nice pool and jacuzzi. Free Wi-Fi service. Perfect for business or family.

Different hotel every night, they all tend to blend together. When I asked for a receipt showing a 0 balance for travel purposes, they said I should get that on line. It was OK. I wouldn't drive to Edinburgh just to stay in this hotel, but if I found myself there, it was a pretty decent hotel.

The location of the hotel to the business that I was attending. The carpet had holes in it and the chair also had a hole in it. The condition of the furniture and carpet was not very good for the price that was paid for the accommodations.

The cleaning staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and the room was clean and spacious. The front desk staff was not friendly or helpful at all. There were no kid-friendly areas for my son to play without disturbing other guests. The location is very convenient for travel within Edinburgh and McAllen. The room was a good value: comfortable beds, nice tub, spacious room, and a good range of TV channels. It also had a desk and working wireless internet. My only complaint with the room was that it was poorly lighted. The parking lot seemed too small for when the hotel is at full occupancy. The front desk staff seemed bored and disinterested in the guests, but the cleaning staff was friendly and responsive. I had a hard time keeping my 2 year old son quiet after a 7 hour drive, I received repeated phoned complaints from the front desk without advice or sympathy, and there was nowhere safe to take him within the hotel where he could play.

The breakfast area had a sofa area for visiting! Great! The hotel had excellent service. For a family of five, it was very comfortable, quite reasonably priced, extremely clean, and in a convenient location. We will surely use this hotel again.

Quiet, Clean, Friendly Staff. Staff did not check on Breakfast supplies/food. The only problems that we encountered were during breakfast and evening swim. They ran out of many of the supplies/food during breakfast and someone had to go get staff to replenish. During evening swim they had a group of people/kids, not staying at the hotel that came to the pool. We were unable to use the hot tub.
