My wife & I were very pleased with this hotel. We booked a 2-bed, non-smoking room & arrived earlier than the 3 PM check-in time to ensure we got a ground floor room. Upon check-in, the front desk clerk gave us an upgraded room, but with no view. When we returned with this concern, we were offered an upper floor room with a better view (there is no elevator, so ask for a ground floor room if you have heavy luggage). As we had light luggage, we took the upper room. We had a micro-fridge, coffee maker, 2 chairs w/table, 26? TV, clock radio, & a luggage rack (a rarity). The bathroom fan worked well (another rarity), as did the a/c. The room furniture was in good shape: the armoire was a bit small, but contained plenty of hangers. The bathroom had a massaging shower head & the room contained a recycle bin. The cleanliness of the hotel was good, & a housekeeper provided directions to a couple of destinations. The large window offered a nice, serene view of the large trees surrounding the parking lot (there are no views of the street, but this is quieter). The local calls are free & there is plenty of free parking, mostly in the back. The free breakfast was quite good with plenty of selection & there is an eating room just outside the lobby with several tables. Overall, we found the customer service & the quality of the room to be very good. We have stayed at several hotels throughout the area, but found many of them lacking in quality. We would definitely stay here again.

The price. There was no pool. The price of the hotel was affordable but the room was quite small and not the cleanest.

Was an okay hotel for the money. The motel next door was about as seedy as you can get.Good idea to always be aware of your surroundings.

This hotel would be good for people traveling on Business or for very short stay. They have clean rooms,a microwave, and frige in some rooms. Staff was very good. but no other ameneties(IE pool/game room).I wouldn't recommend this for families

Helpful staff, location. Breakfast was a little out of control. The room was fine, clean and quiet. The hotel is conveniently located for visiting the Toronto zoo and Ontario Museum of Science. The hotel is on a busy strip adjacent to interesting residential neighborhoods. You get the flavor of living in Toronto.

It was a bit less than other hotels in the area, but we should have paid the 15 more and got a clean room. The room itself was not too bad, but the bathroom was discusting! Won't stay again.

Staff was friendly, room was clean, convenient wireless access. It is a little bit off the beaten path for visitors to Toronto. I was pleased with my experience at the hotel. It's an easy 15 minute drive from downtown Toronto, and significantly cheaper than downtown hotels. The hotel is a bit dated in terms of its style and decoration, but everything is clean and I felt comfortable and safe during my stay. I would consider staying there again if I return to the area.

It was close to the funeral home and cemetery we dealt with. It was dirty and the free breakfast was substandard. While it was close to where we needed to be, the room could have been cleaner. The coffee on the free breakfast bar was cold and I was told it had been made 3 hours earlier. I insisted on a fresh pot. We were there for a funeral, so we did not spend a lot of time in the room, fortunately.

Clean. Heater problem. I guess it could have been better, but in reality was adequate, not super but not bad.

My room was big and very clean. Sometimes staff lacked knowledge about specific questions concerning public transportation. All in all this hotel surprised me with his friendly staff and the amenities were just great for this category.

Clean and affordable. Breakfast wasnot very good. The location was fair enough from downtown Toronto that it was affordable yet close enough that getting downtown was not a problem. The drive was easy for an out-of-towner. The front desk had a good map which detailed the different sections of Toronto and which was very helpful. Staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. I'd stay there again.

The staff was extremely helpful! I enjoyed my stay at the Comfort Inn East. The staff was extremely helpful, it was out of busy Toronto but still only a 20 minute drive to the city. It was close to the main attractions and easy to get to. The breakfast bar in the morning was a good way to start the day and not have to worry about going out to a restaurant. It was a very good family hotel and very reasonable. I would go back there again.
