The Comfort Inn East is located northeast of the Interstate 29 and Interstate 94 junction, less than five miles from North Dakota State University. If you are like me and like to travel then you look forward to all aspects of the trip. One of the best things at the end of a day of travelling and shopping is returning to a nice, comforting hotel room. Ironically this was not the case at the Comfort Inn. When we first entered our room we noticed the rug had not been vacuumed and there were crumbs all over the floor.The next event was the bathroom. If you like broom closets...this hotel is for you. Thirdly we had a room on the main floor. Several times a night we were woken up by children running or jumping at odd hours. Finally, after using the hot tub, I nearly got sick there was so much clorine added to the water. I usually never complain about hotels, but if you are looking for good value and comfort for your money, I would avoid the Comfort Inn.

Great location, nice large room, very friendly staff. Good continental breakfast. Even though they had wireless internet a guest computer wouldhave been nice. Very nice staff.

Hotel accommodated need for non-smoking room. Housekeeping. When I saw I was next to the vending and across from the swimming pool, I thought I'd have issues with noise, but there was no problem. Room was large, bed comfortable, largish refrigerator & microwave. On negative side, no housekeeping after first night (I was there late, but most will check back) and after second night they made bed, emptied the garbage can - but didn't take away empty coke bottles on table which there wasn't room in the can for or any other obvious garbage, and took away used towels without replacing (still had one left so managed). For some reason they discarded the soap I had in the shower (nice surprise) even though they didn't clean the shower at all. Very strange/bad housekeeping. The front desk staff was very nice.

Location off main highway and close to airport. Cleanliness and noise. Loud guests through 4am. Noise and cleanliness. Staff was very nice and helpful at check in.

The complimentary breakfast was ok. The bedding seemed old and dirty. The carpet was old and dirty. No hair conditioner was provided, only shampoo and skin lotion. The couch was filthy.

The front desk personnel were extraordinary. Excellent, generous continental breakfast. Indoor pool. Close to the highway and indoor mall, this is a spotless hotel with the greatest front desk staff, most generous free continental breakfast, and perks like an indoor pool(albeit small) and hot tub, free WiFi, and 24-hour coffee and juice in the lobby. You'll rarely find such a value.

Locataion to shopping & dinning. Small lobby. For a level 2 hotel it was very nice, the breakfast was excellent, and it is located close to shopping & dinnng.

The staff members were exceedingly polite and friendly. Really nice folks! AC inone room did work as well as in the other room we had. Great hotel, with great people working there. I needed to have a late check-out for one of the two rooms we had.

Good location, good layout. Easy in and out. Typical Comfort Inn. Equal to my expectations. A little noisy. We were near the stairwell. Friendly staff, great location, free parking, clean rooms and efficient staff.

Location. Contenial breakfast, small bathroom, poor maid service. This is not a 2 star hotel. I had trouble closing my door to the hotel room, I had to slam it very hard from the inside to make it close. The hotel room was unvacuummed, and very dusty TV, window sill, night stand, etc. The bathroom was very small and the shower was horrible. They should think about different shower heads. What a rotten way to start your day. The housekeeping was very poor, I stayed there two nights and they did not even replace my liner in the ice bucket, left my pillows on the wrong bed, did not vacuum or dust, did not leave a new bar of soap. The continental breakfast was very poor. The coffee was horrible! The breakfast selection was poor and not of good quality. Not what you would expect from a 2 star hotel. I have stayed at 1 star hotels that I have been much more satisfied with.

The room was very clean and the building appeared to have been recently remodeled. While the non smoking area we were in smelled very clean and fresh, however, the hallways with the smoking rooms smelled heavily of smoke. The hotel was centrally located in Fargo, just a few blocks from the mall. The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were exceptionally clean.
